Only something like 45% of people who voted could vote.

Look at that the shape of that idiot who jumped Lennon, do you think he has the ability to put an X in a box?

I don't like that fact that Scotland is being painted as a "Catholic hating country". I have family who are Scottish protestants, as well as many friends, who have no qualms with Catholics whatsoever. If anything, their guilt lies in remaining silent. I think the majority of the country could do without this nonsense. It's time for them to rise up, band together, and push for change.

Well any hun, sorry non Celtic fan,I've met has been either scum or smug about what's been happening to Neil Lennon.I used to come on here and say they aren't all like that but I don't know now.
I think the majority anyway may well be bigotted to the core.

I hate it to as it wasn't my experience growing up and I'm 50! I come from a mixed family as most of us do and I don't hate anyone because of their nationality or religion :87: Sad days for our country :54:

Everybody I know calls it Glasgow Celtic. I guess you've never sang "Hail Hail"? lol even lyrics in that call us Glasgow Celtic.

Anyway on-topic, I don't see why we should move. We may have Irish roots, which I'll agree is a massive part of our history, but we are still a Scottish Club and we shouldn't be forced to move.
I hate when foke put down Scotland all the time, saying we "reject catholics" and how its a horrible racist country.
Don't mean to sound like a gay but it offends me so much when people talk like that, especially fellow Celtic fans.
You need to stop generalizing as not everyone in Scotland is the same. Aye I'll agree that there are a lot of racist folk here but I'm sure we'd get that anywhere.
C'mon lads we aw need to stick together and beat the huns and the SFA and everyone that tries to put down this great club, not run away from them.

"Glasgow" has never been in the name of Celtic Football Club,it was done on purpose I beleive,so anyone in Scotland,or wherever could support them.

Unfortuntely foreign media in the german speaking countries use the term "Celtic Glasgow", which is braindead and completely wrong. I wrote 100 emails already to point out their mistake, but they keep ignoring me.

I would say that's true :87: We've always had the undercurrents what with the Orange Lodge etc but I never ever viewed them as dangerous other than what the peddled in the name of Unionism was unhealthy for us as a country. Every year for as long as I can remember they liked to rub our nose in it :87: Some of my fathers family were in the Orange Lodge yet he and his brother married catholics. His mother was Irish protestant and loved to sing all the rebel songs and he picked them all up from her. He reminds me of Seamus :icon_mrgreen: he liked to sing in memory of those repressed and that's where his sympathies lay :86: I never really understood it all until I grew up

I'm sure you're capable of making your point without calling your fellow Tims "*". Calm it.

I think maybe it is time to get out. Scotland won't be changed, people can kid themselves but we've been here since 1888 and it's not got much better.

Irish league is even worse than ours and without rangers dare I say it a lot of the passion that has been built for years would be ruined. We would have no rivals and forgive me if I'm wrong there is nothing better than getting one over them .. Celtic and rangers however u look at it would not be the same without one another and love hate or whatever that is the truth. Stop being pedantic idiots and look at the Bigger picture
