Lenny refusing to speak to BBC or 'certain paper.'

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by Scarecrow, Mar 15, 2012.

  1. Jim Traynor = idiot.

I hate to see both Celtic and Rangers fans saying the Rags print negative stories about their clubs.

Just never speak to the press again.

They're obsolete anyway. Issue statements and interview videos on the Celtic FC official website and we'll see how long their tiolet paper press lasts.

  2. Didn't the huns also boycott the record and the BBC lately?

If that is the case, are these institutions really inherently 'against us', or pandering to sell papers via shock stories. I personally feel the latter.

Journalism, especially in the tabloids is a very murky world of unsubstantiated rumour and borderline lies, sources are completely made up, often. I have first hand witnessed this, though I won't get into that.

Inflammatory stories sell, due to the what the people who buy these terrible sources of news want, or percieved to want by marketing.

In a nutshell, there is much more to this than 'the record are against us', it deserves a much more deeper discussion as it it much more due to years of bad journalism, and ignorrant readers, than inherent bias.

Buy the guardian if you want to read a paper meant for real news anyway, or mature discussion.

  3. Folks I hate to say it. You are doing the same thing that Lennon is having a go about. Hearsay is not fact. If it is not fact then do not write about it as if it were fact.

I don't think Lennon actually said exactly who those certain people were. Therefor it being Traynor or the Record is just hearsay.

He mentioned traynor's name in an interview, when he spoke about his decision not to hold a press conference. Think it was before the dundee utd game last week.

  4. Fact :icon_mrgreen:

  5. i wish he hadn't spoken to them today after the game

moaning about a penalty was the first thing out of his mouth! we were pish today! the 1st touch and control of elephants

looked like the players minds were elsewhere, you know like they had already won it before kick off! * amateurs!
were they out last night celebrating st paddies ?

makes neil look bitter coming out after a crap performance like that and complaining about not getting a penalty after they took the lead

and i dont think the players should be comforted by "it was all the fault of the referee not giving us a stonewaller penalty"

cause we could come out and put in a performance like that the next big game

its not on neil we were * today and the players need to know that !!!! and that we need to be on our game to win cups and leagues and any other big games
