I hope Saint Martin is right and Lennon proves to the board and fans that he can be a great manager.

It's using Saint as a vernacular. I dont think the NFL team the New Orleans Saints are a team full of religious figures

“Please come back, come and get behind the team, get behind myself and Johan,” he said. “We’ll try and install some pride and desire and will to win into the club that you love and we’re all trying to push in the same direction.”

This is from the Celtic PLC website.

Is Lenny already bowing to the board's fear of plummiting season ticket sales.

Aye we've sacked Mowbray, but the board are still here & continuing as they ever have by the sounds of it.

lenny's first hurdle will be to overcome the sweeping apathy from a fanbase watching a mediocre side compete for nothing more than a smidgeon of respect.

neil lennon ... great skipper and player for celtic. Doing a fantastic job with danny mcgrain with the young lads.

Is he a potential manager? yes course he is

Is he ready now - No hes not... its that simple. Newcastle brought in alan shearer cus he was the fans fav as a player. He had a few coaching badges , no managerial experience.

I wish lenny all the best till the end of the season though. Great character.

Do you think wee Lenny will do good

i've heard all the roumers of the managers we might get
slavan bilic is the one i'd want and the one i wanted before mogga tbh
but lenny i'm very excited about, if anyone can put some fight into our team it's him and big johan
he done our team wonders when he came back from forest
    REMEMBER that all the doubters.........
anyway i would like all thoughts on paul lambert for the manager
    I DON'T THINK SO
i just dont like the idea of him
think about his interviews at the hoops as a player
remember him at livingston, suit and tie all the time
he go's to wicombe(MON's fist club)
all of a sudden he dresses like MON and he even speaks like MON
    extraordinary,unbelievable and shockingly it's not
surprised he's not speaking german, i think he should be an actor
NEIL LENNON IS AN HONEST GUY AND HIS OWN MAN AND NOT TRYING TO BE SOMEONE HE'S NOT
SO GOOD LUCK LENNY AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU AT CP NEXT SEASON

    HAIL HAIL

Lennon cant lose! Its a win win situation for him!

I seriously think he could suprise all of us and do really well! He has no fear, he wouldnt want or do they job if he thought he couldt do it!! As why ruin aa good realationship with celtic/fans

He knows the scottish game inside out! For me I cant wait to see what he is about and I think he could put bums on seats !!

I will be praying for lenny to do well, he will be hurting as much as us of whats gone on, he knows more than us of the stuff thats went on internally, he obviously feels he can sort it out.!

Not got much experience but here's hoping he does OK. A great servant of Celtic FC as a player...lets hope he carries this into management.

If he does do good untill end of the season, wins us the cup, why not give him the job. ( i did say we needed an experianced manager but wee as fans will know come may if he should be offered the job)

Look at 2 of the biggest clubs in the world Ac Milan and Barcelona appionting ex players. if its good enough for them its good enough for us.

Wish Lenny the lion all the best. am sure he wont let us down.

He has experience of working under 2 of our most successful managers in recent years so I think he knows what it takes. I would be happy if he gets it permanent.

2 of our most successful managers ever, and he was Captain, and a great record as a reserve coach. Neil Lennon for Permanent.

Doesn't mean he can do it himself. Roy Keane & Paul Ince haven't exactly set the house on fire so far in their managerial careers after being taught by Ferguson.
