Lennon to face 17 game ban?

I was just watching back the highlights of that cup game last year, on top of the 3 red cards the huns got in the match, at least another 4 of them including Sally should have got lengthy bans and fines for bringing the game into disrepute, violent and overly aggresive conduct, and as you say actually man handling players and officials.

Hugh Dallas tried to make out that Lenny ran onto the pitch at Hampden and punched Ref Norris in the face, but he did far far less than Bougherra did to Calum Murray - and yet who gets the ban?

Paranoia I say

Mate I said it in the paranoid thread, a player in a lower division got a 13 match ban for the same offence as bougherra. There are so many times that Celtic management and players get hit harder than our southside counterparts.

I doubt they could stop him coming down to the pitch once the game is over or it would mean any player banned couldn't join in either

 

They can ban Lenny all they want but i'd bet he'd ignore the ban and lift the trophy anyway!
I don't believe it will come to that though.

 

It's gettIng harder and harder to defend Lenny. He is making himself all too easy to for his enemies to portray him as some sort of ned. He really needs to mature on that score. He is slowly mounting up an incredible list of spats. He is no tommy burns or caesar when it comes to representing the club. He should watch old videos of no they conducted themselves.

 

I think these bans have a time frame attached to them in terms of where he can go on matchdays. Eg, he must not be in the dressing room or technical area for about 30 mins before the match.

Just to clarify, Lennon would not be able to appeal SFA tribunal decision.

SFA vs Celtic in court again then.

 

That's correct and that's what worries me. I'm sure the SFA would love nothing more than to try and block Neil Lennon from taking part in the trophy presentation. It would be a great power trip for them.

Must be one almighty hearing, Radio Clyde were reporting at about 1 o clock that the decision would be out in about an hour. Yet here we are nearly 5 hours later with no decision...

 

Thats the tribunal finished.Decision shortly,hope Celtic take this further considering the 2 officials had conflicting story's.

 

Radio Clyde spoutin shiite again. The meeting wasn't scheduled to start til 3pm.

Thompson gave photographers the thumps up when he left with Mjallby and Lennon - Rahman on twitter.

 

Hurry up and announce it * sake, I'm dying to give the SFA another hounding regardless of the result.

 

Couldnt believe when I looked here and there was no news yet, maybe wee Lenny had battered the panel, seeing as he is so violent, incites riots, is such a menace and all that *!

Cleared of the tunnel incident!!!!!!! Brilliant, bet some on here will still have a pop at Lennon and believe the hun press/refs/SFA ahead of him!
