If these players on that list have anything about them, they will be out to prove a point on Tuesday night. If not, then they know where the door is.

Quite impressed by Lennon's performance in that interview. Particularly when he was asked "are the players good enough" (bit of a double-edged question) and he answered "that's up to them".

    Handled it very well.

Yet more sycophantic noises coming from Celtic. Is anyone else sick of words from our club when the huns keep their trap shut and win football matches?

Every single day of the week someone from our club comes away with throwaway comments that people want to hear then when it comes to game time we get served up the same * we did on Saturday.

Fair play to him but I spose that won't be his business who's here for next season and who ain't.

Also some demand a massive clear out now but they were the first to criticise when TM did exactly the same.

You reap what you sow, Mr Lawwell, and it is on your watch that all this slide has happened. Prudence is one thing, but there is more to life than the bottom line. How about you answer a few sticky questions - not from the 'meeja' but directly from the support - instead of hiding away in your office and corperate box?

I think it's fair to say that there does need to be some significant changes. No question.
For me looking just at the starting lineup Boruc stays in goal. Hinkel stays at right back. At left back not sure about Naylor's contract situation but Braffheid can go back off to Bayern Munich and we need to look out for a left back. As bad as our center backs have been all season I think Hooiveld may turn out to be a great signing when he is finally fully fit with a pre-season behind him. But we still need to sign a truly quality dominating center back alongisde him. O'Dea has done well recently and deserves to stay as do Thompson and Rogne. So I would be inclined to sell Loovens to help finace signing a new center back.
In midfield I would keep Brown and McGeady. But we need to sign a true quality holding midfielder so I would let N'Guemo go and look for a new player there. But midfield is probably the area we need the least amount of reshaping.
Up front assming Keane is gone I think we need to sign 2 quality new strikers. I would cut my losses and sell Fortune. Mowbrays most expensive signing simply doesn't get it done in front of goal. As much as his flashes of brilliance make you want to be patient with Samaras I would sell him also.

So in short for me Braafheid, Kamara and N'Guemo all can go back to their original clubs as loan signings. I would love Keane to stay but assume he will not. I would sell Loovens, Samaras and Fortune and look to sign 2 new strikers, a holding midfielder, a left back and a center back.

I found that a bit strange, wouldn't he do better producing a list of players he wants to sign???

His managerial record consists of beating Kilmarnock, scrapping by Hibs and getting pumped by Ross County. That's it. He has to go out and learn his trade, this is not a job for rookies.

That sort of sounded like a Celtic Yoda.

Thank * i aint the only one that see's Lennon aint ready his first game v Killie we won what esle was you expecting ? we also did this under Tony the clueless clown , 2nd game v Hibs we was dire and very lucky to come away with 3points , Ross count his 3rd game in charge total farce even worse than ST Mirren for me ,

It's ok tho right now we have Robbie keane and hes scoring for fun and makes Lennon look half decent , Lennon has did nothing at all to even show he deserves this job so * if he comes out and start;s these players not deserve to be at this club etc , Im sorry Lennon but you dont deserve to be the manager of his club if you love the club and care for it as much as you say . Then go and tell the * board you aint good enough and you go off down south and earn the right to come back here one day and take charge .

Lennon put out a TM formation against Ross County and done nothoing when we were second best throughout the match. I deff want Lennon at the club and involved with the 1st team next season but he's not got what is required to be the next manager, sorry Lenny pop yourself on the list! Lennon's time will come but his time is not now. There is a big job to be done at Celtic and the sooner it starts the better!

he should have waited a game or so to see if his comments would have maybe sparked some fire in those that have been underperforming. now it almost seems like the decisions made and it doesn't matter what any of them do which seems like that would deflate the dressing room. dunno if this was the right move or not just yet.

Staggering ! I can't believe anyone wants to keep Hinkel-he is a liability -big time !
If you really watch the game, you will see the damage he is doing . Others try to cover for him and we lose the balance.
Naylor must hold the record for hitting opponents with clearances -at least 6 times on Saturday !
