all sounds great till the end of your quote when you say ill give neil lennon till the end of the season at least !! so its not ok for people to think like this now but it will be ok for you at the end of the season to think like that??? whats wrong with admitting we have made a mistake now and act quickly?? i sat there tonight in minus 9 ! my toes are still * cold ! i will always back the team no matter who is in charge and who has the jersey on their back. just because we dont think lennon is the man for the job doesnt mean we dont support the team !!

What evidence was there that Michelangelo was going to be a great painter until he lifted a paint brush?

There is never any evidence in a person's ability until they start out on that chosen path and are given time to prove their worth.

Granted, the Celtic job is maybe not the correct job to throw a novice into, but Neil Lennon is doing the job which he was offered. There is no evidence to say he won't be a great manager, only a few stumbling block's.

I'm sure Michelangelo went over the lines a few times when learning.

you referring to me as not being loyal,

listen, don't go down that road...

i live 200 miles from parkhead, i've been to every home game this season, barring caley and tonight, reason being is im banned for 3 games.

i've also been to 4 away games, now for someone who's only 16 to travel that much on a regular basis, and spend that money, you can say im no loyal.

    lot of *.

We are a shambles and it's down to Lennon love the guy but I would bite the bullet and get shot of him not good enough along with most of the players

I think the secret to being sucessful these days at Celtic is being a really clever training ground manager, basically a master coach. The players are not going to be top drawer so its is all about forming them into a unit. Very unpopular though they would be Brown, Levein and Jeffries are really hard headed experienced SPL coaches with a training ground type approach.

Sacking Lennon now would be totaly pointless.

    1) New manager would want a new team. Ther own tactics etc (as TAB mentioned)
    2) Lenny is really liked by the players, and they would be devastated if Lenny got sacked.

Regardless of how well he does etc, he will be sacked by the board at a point. Harsh reality. However when im 40 years old, and Lenny's had a few managerial jobs under his belt hopefully we shall see him back at Parkhead

but the bottom line is the top job would not be given to a guy with no experience in any other walk of life. A person should be given a job because of what they offer and what they have on the CV, not on a guess that they might be good in future.

Well the only ones who are loyal are the ones who put there money where their mouths are or bums on seats that gets us income to buy players full stop.

selective in my debates?, meaning i only take one side, exactly like yer doing?.. only yer changing evry * cime we get a good result or a bad result.

i will support my manager, until i feel that he has been absolutely hopeless, but imho he hasn't been completely hopeless like mowbray was, bearing in mind that he's had to take over from a complete dud, and won 8 games in a row with the exact same team that TM had, including the huns,

see you tend to forget this side of lennon, also he's passionate on the sideline and will be the first to admit if he;s wrong or not...

some people simply cant afford it, especially this time of year where money has been spent on other things. . also people have to work and the weather is ridiculous.. and dangerous roads..

who are you to say they're no loyal... i go to the games, but i don't go about calling other fans not loyal because the fact is alot simply can't go.

We appointed a rookie manager and if you weren't expecting slip-ups along the way and disappointments, then you were living in dream world. The board must have took this into account when they carefully considered who to appoint.

We've took a massive gamble, a risk and the board, along with all us fans are still hoping it's going to pay off and we can continue to improve after claiming the SPL at the end of the season.

Therefore it's highly unlikely Lennon will face the chop come January as we were surely expecting Lennon and his team to be behind at some stage in the season and for Lennon to be making tactical mistakes.

I stand by my first post, I'm behind Lennon as long as he is Celtic manager, whether that only be until the end of the season or not. I would definitely not like to see him get sacked before the end of the season, for the reasons stated in my first post.
