Yes, and if we sack Lennon now, the same things will be getting said yet again next season, as soon as the next manager loses a game (or draws a a game, which is what we're talking about today).

Continuity is the only answer. Surely you can see that chopping and changing has got us nowhere?

Neil Lennon's record in the SPL - as a rookie manager - is

    PLAYED - 23
    WON - 19
    DRAWN - 2
    LOST - 2

If you think that merits a sacking, I don't honestly know what to say.

Stop being silly Nick, You asked where the substance was and I told you to go re-read it. You also seemed to be anchoring your angst on those supposedly 'knee-jerking' to JUST today's game.

I pointed out the obvious that you either hadn't read the thread or did not understand the points made. I gather that even though you seem contrary that you are capable enough.............thus you haven't read the thread or are being wilfully misrepresenting those of us who are concerned enough to put forward our points.

I do not find any of this funny!

Of course my question about today's game and your attendance is important in that it was a carbon copy in terms of tactics with the DU and St. Mirren games, ie nae tactics and pumpin the baw up the park. This style of play sans passing is now the norm. Should you have been at any of these games I'm sure you might sympathise with our view.

I do not find this funny either.

You can't link it back to Mowbray's time after 8 wins on the trot. We had turned a corner and made leaps forwards in achieving that form and results. Now all of a sudden everyone starts being negative. Nobody was thinking like that with those results and they can come again. Hardly anyone was thinking about Tm's time once we made some headway with his season. Means very little now that we have achieved such a great run and we have seen what this team is really capable of!

He did have a good start to the season, look if you're not alarmed by the performances of the team lately then that's you mate. I do agree about the knee * reaction I started the thread just after the game but if I read in the paper tomorrow he was gone I would probably be raging. I just think it's becoming clear we might have made a mistake appointing an inexperience manager. His tactical ability's are limited I just hope today he maybe have seen he needs some help. In a ideal world MON would come in and help him to the end of the season.

Out of the champions league then dumped out of the europa league it seems to be the big game were you need your manager to be at his best and lenny has failed

eh?? I watch every game. I know what is going on. Don't question that. You're just going round in circles. I have explained what I think, I standby the fact that people shouldn't kick up a fuss so early. It's the way I feel. I know what all your gripes are, with tactics, subs etc.. But while even I may even question these, I don't think it warrants wanting Lennon out!!! At all.

It's not even that I haven't took notice mate. I know things need to change a bit. But yeah, I stand by Lennon as I have seen where the team can be. I have the faith!

Of course not, what you need is the common honesty to admit what you were doing in the first place, rather than keeping it a secret.

Saying "Five points out of fifteen" - with no qualification - is clearly a deception. If you don't like the word "lie" then make up your own word, and don't tell us. Celtic have won eleven points out of our last eighteen. Including a 9-0 victory over Aberdeen. Under Neil Lennon, who is the subject of the thread. Why is that so hard for you to say?

:56: After your shenanigans, the offended-sense-of-honour approach is scarcely appropriate, don't you think?

Which reminds me of another gentleman in the news recently...

It's a bit hard on him to talk about Europe really. Braga have beaten Arsenal and Sevilla since and that game was his first where he did not know his best team. Very hard for a new manager for his first game in Europe to be against half decent sides eh?? Give him a chance to soet things.

That is a fact. And that is why it is important to highlight these defining games because they make or break a manager, and the club and its fans itself. Anybody who is not currently worried or concerned about the way things are going just now must have their heads buried in the sand.

We should not been in the grovelling position where we have to hope and pray Dundee United do us a favour.

To be totally honest, I don't give two * about Europe and it is, unfairly, used as a stick to beat Lenny with.

They deserved to win. Those facts mean little. As much as it was disappointing, I don't think it Lennon should be slated for it. It was still very early in his tenure. It was poor, but don't do them down on their own patch. They're a decent enough team.

Based on what, Utrecht's rep? They deserved to win and are a decent footballing side. Dutch league is decent.

I don't have my head in the sand. I just know there is a bigger picture and how things can change quickly. I support them and Lenny.
