I don't think the boy is interested in staying in Scottish football beyond his stint at Motherwell, couldn't blame him if he didn't, unfortunately much better opportunities outside this league

If the fee is 2.6 we should have had this done two months ago. Absolute no brainer..

He is the type of player who, for me would be a great addition and thrive at Celtic.

Would he come right into the side? Not too sure but he might arrive and due to training and playing with higher quality players comes on leaps and bounds and comes right into the side.

When I watched him last week I wasn't that impressed, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up still at Motherwell this season. He didn't look anywhere near capable of playing for us, allround game massively lacking in several areas where you'd think he's got to get a lot better at those things before he'd get near a game for a decent side.

Could have just been a bad game and maybe he was tired from just starting the season he is only 17 but the lack of chasing players, pressing, only really passing the ball to players and then just standing in position. He'd need to gain the fitness levels and extra yard of pace to close people down, chase back and be able to pass the ball and run forward and stuff.

The pace we started at against Kilmarnock the other day, the running and movement and pressing he'd stick out like a sore thumb as if he couldn't even play like that for Motherwell against Patick Thistle then he's miles off it.

I'd imagine if any scouts were watching that game for example they'd think absolutley no chance.

I kind of agree with what you are saying. I doubt he gets near the first team straight away, but the question to be asked should be "is there sufficient talent there?"

Everything else can be coached into the player, and we need to be buying the best Scottish talent available.

For £2.6m it would likely be worth a punt. Even if it didn't work out we would still get our money back on the investment if he moved to a Championship team after a couple of years with us.

If he realises his potential then we could be looking at a major fee.

Really good Prof. Been on a wee bit of late, but mostly reading as opposed to commenting. Hope you're good bud.

Makes too much sense and acting too much like a proactive, cash rich, big club for us to do.

From what I have seen of David Watson, he is a more promising and a bigger talent than Miller. His technique still needs improving, but at only 19 that can be easily developed with good coaching and a willingness to learn.

Miller's lack of pace is a hindrance to his future developement.

I would hate to see us make another expensive David Turnbull mistake.

He was played out of position the manager has already stated that.

He’s only 17 nearly 18, I would still happily buy to loan back for a season to see how he progresses. He’s going to be inconsistent at that age and can see he’s got a lot to work on but he’s also playing well for his age.

Not for me looked MK Dons level, absolute pish there.

Freedom and more forward he is majestic, and obviously more handsome there too.
