But he has played for the club?:97: cant change the past, also he has done well in the 9 spl games in charge . I know he lost to county & thats the reason why he shouldnt be for some people but remember the inverness & clyde results? does that mean the managers incharge then should have been saacked ? over one result?

What i mean that if we where been linked with an inexperienced manager that had only managed 9 games in his entire life no one would be wanting him

Would love to see him stay in the dugout in some way, i'm just not sure if he's ready for the job
he could be useless in the transfer market but a the same time he could be fantastic , he's just too big a gamble for me

Yes . He is better than all of the other managers in consideration and he knows who to get rid of and probably who to buy cos hes been there for a few months , give him the job and let the rebuilding begin :50:

Lennons ability to motivate players is obvious, but can he find and sign quality players that are within Celtics budget? That is why its a bit of a gamble appointing Lennon as permanent manger but I think he has done enough to be given the job.

I haven't voted as I really don't know, so just now my answer would be depends on who else is on the shortlist. I'm not definitely convinced one way or the other.

Why is there no option for 'not sure'?

I honestly don't know on this one. If Neily gets the job I'll support him, if he doesn't get it then I'll understand why. That's how I'm looking at it.

Lennon is a yes for me.....appreciate their is a risk and to mitigate this i think it would be good if he worked with a more experienced or senior "Director of Football" type character, someone who could advise and support his developmet in tactics....a Trappattoni would be great, maybe even Wim Jansen....

Surley that would keep enveryone happy...??

No. The worst that happens is we have another season like this one and have the Huns laughing in our faces because they've done 3IAR.

would be utter utter madness to appoint a guy with a couple of months experience to the job. If he succeeds it will be the silver spoon effect of getting a huge club/national job without earning it. Even winning with the resources of a club like Celtic would not prove he is a good manager. Same with all coaches who are given top jobs at top teams and national sides. They probably are winning despite the rookie not because of them.

So if Neil Lennon gets the job and succeeds you'll still not give him any recognition? :97:

True mate, true. But if you read the post above yours that will give you an idea of how some people are feeling about Lennon getting the job.

If it was up to me then I think I'd like to see Mark Hughes get the job. I don't think he will though.
