I didn't say our songs were sectarian but some of them absolutely do not belong in football. What have the IRA got to do with Celtic? Say I supported the views of the KKK; I wouldn't go to parkhead and sing songs in their praise!

from years ago up until the present day they have been sung... now we are arguing about something that hasnt even got us into trouble as the authorities know there is nothing they can do as these songs are political!

Like i said before if you dont like them dont sing them..or even better try & drown them out...anyway what are these "football" songs we are all supposed to sing???

So what if they are political or sectarian? What they both have in common is that neither of them belong in football.

And don't play dumb. You know what songs/add-ons should and should not be sung.

any1 thinking lennon is wrong for saying stop the bad taste songs are obviously the people doing it,i its poor you sing the dribble when kids,my 2 being a part of it have to listing, walk on field o athenr grang old team along with our new 1s are mindblowing, fact,. then twats leave a bad taste in everyone mouth singing dribble that to the majority who sing means nothing to them other than the knowledge you will get a response from the equally childish from the other end.ban them all and gv 1grad fines, atmosphere not harmed at all and cp a safer place for kids

What has fields in Galway got to do with Celtic?? what does a rodgers & hammerstein musical number got to do with us?? or a depeche mode song??? yet these are all songs which (rightfully) have there place in our support.. as have many old & new Irish Republican songs.

This is going to go in circles. Now I see why people don't argue on the internet. You're telling me you don't see the difference between a meaningless song like JCGE and some sinister IRA songs?

I said earlier on this thread i think "soon there will be no protestants at all"" add-on & "roaming in the gloaming" are wrong...........but i cant even remember these being sung inside the ground.. i certainly wouldnt ...& i wouldnt like my fellow Celtic fans to sing them...but thankfully i know they wouldnt as we are not like that shower over Ipox way....thats why we havent been done like them.

If these songs we do sing were hate songs dont you think the Scottish authorities would have acted by now?? If we sang the same kinda stuff the huns sang but from a Catholic point then Celtic Park wouldve been * shut down by now!

What I meant is that you know these songs cause offence to certain people yet you still go out of your way to sing them.

Because both are equally ridiculous in the context of a football match, where 2 teams try to kick a leather ball into a net!

Yes because if people stopped singing about Irish patriots, Celtic Park would be "safer" place for kids.:56::56::56:

Orange Walks offend me. Will they be stopped? Didn't think so.
