I agree mate.He wouldnt have anything near that for a normal assault....or 4 months detained before the trial....so given the public situation of the assault, danger of inciting a riot etc, i think 8 months is about right.People need to get perspective....even though emotions run high.
However, he should have a life ban and Hearts should take the initiative and make it very public.

 

he should be banned from all stadiums for any sport for life.

 

The book should have been thrown at this guy and he should have been made an example of. 8 months in prison, what a joke!

The next person will now think it's worth serving that!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy with the entire affair and think the trial, verdict, etc, etc was a sham and poor reflection on scotland if that's how they treat the blatantly guilty!

Having said that, Celtic fans earned the reputation of best supporters in the world! But it's far harder to stay at the top once you get there!!!

Let's not sink to the level of this moron, or worse!
