You're awfully optimistic. But it's Lennon and the bhoys that are getting stuff done. The board- just loans and cheapskating their way out of doing their job.

If we get Taylor I'd be reasonably happy with our business. Should be more than strong enough to canter the league. Great blend of experience and youth. In an ideal world would love to find another Wanyama as a long term Broonie replacement.

 

Aye we got stuff done on the pitch. But we’ve also signed a 7million cb, a left back that given time can come good (was impressive today), a rb that looks a steal with another in for competition, loaned a keeper that’s better than what we had, a winger bought for 16mill last year that we could never afford and a few prospects. Dish out criticism and praise in equal measures.

 

This is spouted too much. All the wages freed up earlier, all the money raked in over the years...and we just keep loaning players. Yes, we bought Jullien, but, the needs of the team demand more actual signings that stay here longer than 1 season.

We should be. All the money we have accumulated allows us to do that. The board are stingy at best, and at worst, paid by the Huns to stall our progress.

I want to say taylor and another 2 in those positions you mention but I don’t want to be disappointed.

We have shown in last week with Bauer and Elyounoussi that we are doing stuff and media know * all.

I have a feeling it’s only Taylor but would live both CDM and a CB as well.
