5 goals since the 2-0 at Ibrox in September sort of tells me that we haven’t missed him all that much.

 

We've definitely missed him for me..

It isn't so bad when Dembele is firing and vice versa but because Dembele has been ropey as *, he's been a miss..

Partick Thistle he basically changed the game. First 15 minute's at home to Hibs we were outstanding and he could've/should've had a hat trick, got one and was injured. We basically scraped a win and hung on after that. Killie and St Johnstone he would've gave us that other option when clearly not working for Dembele..

 

I’d rather have him fit than injured but I think people keep forgetting how poor he’s been for the majority of this season.

Having said that, at least he gives a * and works for the team.

 

And scores goals.

 

Aye but he hasn’t been doing it enough this season.

 

Aye, but injury has so much to do with that. He's barely been fit all year. He played with a calf injury to get us through the qualifiers and he's struggled to get fully fit since.

 

Which raises another problem!

Injuries have been the devil this season for so many players.

 

His calf problems are a major concern..

 

Scored in his last game when he got injured. That's the thing about Griff you never think he hasn't tried after a game. Think watching Dembele shuffle about doing not hellish much a lot of the time has got on the wee mans *. Moussa has the tools t be way better than Griff, but right now I'd trust Griffiths against the sheep and the Huns way more than I trust Moussa

 

Leigh is such a great option for the manager to have when he's fit, he's just been unlucky with the injuries this season.

 

In my life time, I can't think of another season where we've had as many injuries. Maybe Venglos' season?

 

He was a doctor though so it was fine

 

Think Barnes had a right few bad ones at one point but this has to be the worst season in my lifetime and I am in my mid 30’s

I wonder if our injury situation has to do with the amount of games this squad has played since Brendan took over.

I know we had the winter break last year and this year but that was what 3 weeks? They hardly get a summer either.

That can't be good.

IMO if we went straight into the CL - or even if we only had to play the qualifying round - we'd still be unbeaten domestically.

 

We need him back on corners and free kicks!

 

Nobody can hit a ball like Griff ,
Generally when he is not playing our set pieces are generally poor .

 

The amount of corners we had against Zenit i'd put a lot of money on us to have scored at least once if Griff was on them.
