Needs to not get stroppy. He is close to going down a bad road and go from 40 goals down to being a no mark. (very harsh and he clearly isnt). Needs to just accept that Dembele is the step up from him and knuckle down to his own game. In time hopefully we play both all game and they form the partnership we all want.

He is the sort of player we are going to be blessed to have for 10 years if he wants to be here. Needs to know he cant be moody and that this is the best he is going to get, and he is definetely a player we want here.

A no mark? It was the last match he came on and changed the game.

Don't think he was stroppy tonight either.

Thought he was really poor tonight.

First touch let him down massively.

Where's all this talk of being a no mark coming from. Hugely important part in the squad...

Wee man is frustrated. He's still a very good striker. Sadly for him he's not as good as Dembele

He's clearly not thinking like he should. Understandably frustrated, but awful performances like that will do him no good in the long run, when Dembele is coming on making fleeting appearances and doing the bizz..

Needs to knuckle down now and get back doing what he does best..

Had plenty of games like that last season and scored 40 goals.

    He won't dwell on it.

His injury came at the worse time for him as Moussa grabbed his chance with both hands

30 goals in 9 league games.

Pure * averaging 3+ goals per game.

Get used to it it's the way forward in modern football.

On Griffiths, if it's not clear for all to see by now that his all round game just isn't there to be a Celtic number 1 striker as well as being a threat at the highest level then they never will.

He's now where he should be imo, a capable and acceptable backup striker. Basically like an upgraded version of Stokes from the Hooper days.

Christ people really need to get over 4-4-2. It's not coming back anytime soon unless we want to play a defensive style and hit teams on the break, which we certainly won't be doing.

As for Griffiths he's still a great option to have but it's clear to see Dembele is a class above and Dembele is the level of striker we need in the champions league. It's a huge bonus though having someone like Griffiths on the bench.

Wee man got shafted again tonight with a booking for a nothing incident.

When he gets to eager or frustrated, his level drops and becomes a hinderence to himself and the team. He becomes more self-focused, starts chasing the goal instead of picking the best option. He shown exactly this on Sunday, his assist for the goal and then minutes after the goal he had an option to play in others but got his head down and the opportunity was gone.

Dembele for me is the better of the two and I would start him. However Griffiths is also a fantastic option to have.

He was very lucky to stay on the pitch as long as he did due to his kicking out..

He does have that streak in him and i hope Brendan takes him to task over that side of his game.
He is prone to having quiet spells scoring wise but it must be frustrating for him to get his chance
when there were so many changes..

Not hitting top form but that happens to all strikers. We all want to see him back on form and with all
the games we have in December i am sure he will be needed

He wasn't lucky to stay on the pitch. He didn't 'kick out' at all and the first booking was beyond a joke.

Exactly. He didn't kick out. In realtime it looked a bit like it but the replay from behind the goal showed clearly it was just a coming together. No malice in it at all and that ponce for them made it look worse with his handbags.

Also, yep, never a booking, keeper kicked his foot :s:
