I just find it strange that this is such an active thread. Sure he still has weaknesses in his game but he's working hard on them and has improved so much already. Not only will it be hard to get anyone better on our budget, there are also far, far more pressing issues to address in this window.

Add to the above that he is on form and that Rodgers has already stated that he's important for what he's building here and it's just a bit odd that people are insisting he needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

It is, they play Anya a guy with no ability on the wing and Naismith a guy with no ability in the hole.

Scotland aren't blessed with good players. I'm not denying that. Griffiths isn't the answer either though or he'd be in the team. Too weak at holding up the ball and doesn't have the pace to get away from top defenders.

Griffiths is actually maybe the only player in Scotland who would have to build a trophy room in his own house, the amount of Young Player/Player of the Month/Year awards he's had in his career and MOTM champagne as we'll as medals won must be the most in Scotland?

 

Why is the burden of proof on those saying he's a good player. He's done everything asked of him at every level. The burden of proof lies with those saying he's a good SPL player who's found his level.

I wonder sometimes what Griff has to do , how much goals he has to score to show some people what a excellent ST he is. People are going to be eating their words regarding Griff in the next couple of years
