The lad always had the talent, the change in him as a person I think has helped him realise his potential.

Both good points. I agree that he'll never leave here as long as he's wanted. He's worked too hard to make it work here to just risk it all with a move down south. Can't believe he's still only 25.

Get the guy tied down, he's an unbeliavble goalscorer, and a very good footballer. The way he has turned his Celtic career it's impossible not to love him and almost take him in as one of our own

We're lucky to have him - his type cost fortunes.

It would be almost impossible for us to replace his goals.

Well he has. However many he's scored he was very nearly out the door. A lot of respect to him
Ok then. If you don't like him fair enough, but * knows where we'd be without him. What a thought. He's carried us at times this season

He may take a good few chances to stick the ball in the net, but get this man tied down long term. What a player.

Just hope he doesn't do anything daft like singing to opposition fans again.
If he does he will get an immediate 2 match suspension.

We would still be at top of league without his goals but only by about 2pts and we would have went to extra time and possibly penalties against Hearts in the League Cup.

The headed goals have been superb as well, class headers all into the side of the net he seems to pull off. Since he improved his fitness about a year ago he's had a spring in his jump and seems to be able to linger in the air Larssonesque

He's scored 11 headers for us - all of them in the last year(since 29th October 2014) 53 games :notworthy

I'm probably being too sensitive, but even joking about him being better than Larsson makes me uncomfortable :56:

He's clearly done a lot of strength work, which is reflected in his ability to hang in the air, hold defenders off, burst past people etc. When you marry that up with his natural ability to score goals, and his kid-in-a-playground style work rate, we have a player on our hands.

Precisely. When you consider how many poor forwards we've bought from abroad in recent seasons in an attempt to find a man we can rely on, it really highlights the value of someone who is practically guaranteeing goals at the moment.

I'd like to know why, but I get the impression it can't be football-related.
