    What makes it worse is that Grigg is actually a striker and Tomlin isnt, Tomlins an attacking midfielder.

    I said I could name a team of players who went from SPL to BPL. I didn't say anything about direct transfers.

    I did say that it would be unfair to use the same logic for the english sides as they have a direct route to the premiership through promotion. This would be comparing Championship level players to SPL players.

    It's a decent side, considering how much critiscism the league takes down there. With the likes of Wanyaman, Hooper and Boruc added in it would be better than most.

    grigg looks in shape though, with a better team around him he will knock them in, it was just a suggestion. to be honest id rather have someone else than this tomlins boy. What ever happened to Marko Futacs he would be good

    Yea and then you listed players that went from SPL to championship and a few that went from SFL 3rd division to BPL.

    Dont be a hypocrite, if he cant use youth players and players that went via championship then you cant either. Its only fair.

    As I said earlier though, I agree with you that the SPL is better than league 1.

    End up getting some dross from league 1. I'm starting to think Kevin Doyle would have been a good choice now. Do they really think this fatty is gonna tear AC Milan, Barca and Ajax apart? We don't need squad players, we need quality and fast. We are not a good side at the moment.
