If you mean genuine GAA fans then unfortunately there are very few all over.

Most just come out at all Ireland time.

Truth is the Epl is * to watch but has been very well marketed.

There are genuine GAA fans who regularly attend matches. This cannot be said for the fan boys. When you look at the GAA from club level up there are a lot of genuine fans. I know a lot who regularly attend club games but do not travel to county games. It would be very difficult to gauge how many genuine GAA fans there are but I would not solely judge on inter county attendance.

Unfortunately in Ireland the EPL need to do very little marketing. RTE and the various national media sources will do all the promotion work needed.

It's a Fasces. It was used as the emblem for Mussolini's fascist party.

I hear you. The one thing I would say is that Delaney and the FAI's running of the LOI has been pretty poor to say the least. For me the biggest draw back in the short terms is the pathetic state of the majority of the so called stadiums in the LOI. That is not exactly an attraction for the casual support to come on out to a game when the grounds are so poor.

I don't really support a particular team but I do go to the odd game, and it's easy to see why there isn't a large fan base there.

The product on the pitch, for the most part is poor and I can't see it improving anytime soon. Something drastic needs to be done with regards to Irish football as a whole and soon, because the standard of young players and coaches coming through at the minute is dreadful.

Its the Canton flag of St Gallen, a few of their ultras were over for the game. Don't let the facts get in the way of another Bohs conspiracy though

Some of the older SRFCU are friends with some of the Roma lads going back donkeys after a Rovers fan moved to Rome. Again, the reality isn't as amusing as the Bohs fairytale :50:

So are the Rovers fans left wing, right wing or neutral ?

Rovers aren't any one specific group, the same as 99% of football clubs. The support is mainly working class, for instance I'd know many left wing republican Rovers fans but I wouldn't classify the whole support on that, it would be a major generalisation. Cliftonville fans have been coming down for years, so take from that what you want. Some Bohs fans want to strangely dream up some right wing element in our support, which is quite sad on many levels

There is a right wing element mainly with some of the Rovers Ultras. They've racially abused joey Ndo on more then one occasion. Every club has scum bag fans. How can you say Bohs fans dream up a right wing element when I posted a photo of an SRFC Ultras flag with Celtic crosses on it. The Celtic Cross is linked with fascism

The vast majority of the Rovers fans don't hold those views. It's a small minority.

The league isn't advertised enough. With all the Sky Sports hype and all the Football on Tv people are becoming lazier and lazier when it comes to going out to watch football.

At times the product can be poor but it's not that bad. Irish teams punch above their weight in Europe every year and do reasonably well. The quality of football could be better but is that really hat Football is about. I think if Pats had of knocked out Legia they would have gave Celtic a very good game which is embarrassing considering Pats aren't even the 2nd biggest club in Dublin.

Seeing your club up close is every week a million times better then following a club on the Tv. If the Irish people get out and support the league it will get better. Take Norway as an example, most of them are mad into the epl but still support their local clubs. Why can't we? We're a nation of gloryhunters and event junkies that's why.

I'm presuming you know some of these "right wing ultras" personally so with that kind of statement? I'd hazard a guess I know them a * of a lot better than yourself, and call your bullshit. Ndo was abused as a former player who went to a rival, the Bohs smear campaign to take points off us didn't work. You had fans escorted out of Dalyer for racially abusing Ryan Thompson lets not forget. That myth about Celtic crosses has been done to death, its a particular font, which in the eyes of the Bohs propaganda machine are Celtic crosses. Some of your Wrexham buddies had a link to the WDL/EDL any comment, or should Rovers fans assert you are in bed with fascists?
