Curious about the ticket situation for the Hearts game
For the the last few seasons Hampden tickets have been allocated to ST holders on the HCTS based on their attendance at previous rounds which have been played at home.
Given Celtic have been drawn away for both their league cup games this season, just wondering how tickets will be allocated initially.
Assume that it will be based on attendance at the two previous rounds and effectively an away criteria will apply?
Then an open ballot of remaining tickets amongst all HCTS members? Imagine they're unlikely to get into how long people have been on the HCTS or Hampden attendance last season? @Lion1961

Very difficult to predict what criteria Celtic will use. But my guess will be attendance at the two away rounds in league cup Thistle & St Johnstone and on HCTS who will get the first allocation. After that it'll be either a ballot or set a new criteria based on previous seasons cup tickets bought for cup home & away games, or possibly even this and last seasons domestic aways come into play. Extra tickets will also most likely appear if the Jambo's don't sell their full initial allocation.
Like I say though at the minute it's all guess work on how distribution and criteria will be handled. Being a very late Sunday KO demand will be high but the Monday workers who have to travel long distances might not fancy getting home at 4am and starting work at 8. Like every game at Hampden in my experience there will be spares kicking around on the day.Bobo_ likes this. -
