Always backed him and still do. Really likeable guy.

The results have been consistent now for a while so there's obviously improvement there, it's just that our performances have been really poor in 70% of the matches. But I'm putting a lot of that down to the fact that Ronny still wants to bring in his own players.

I'd like to think that we'll sign 2 or 3 players in January and start to see performances improve.

How fortunate that they don't then! :smiley-laughing002:
Up at the top of the table, European football after Christmas, still in the cups...
Naturally, it was going to take some time for everything to click.

I'm pretty sure RD will be at the helm through the next two transfer windows.

I'm not overly optimistic when it comes to the january window.
Signing Guidetty and keep hold of VVD would be brilliant.

It's not only a money thing, and to attract the right quality players,
it could be vital to og as far as possible in Europa League this year.
Of course we need to win SPL, hopefully the domestic "treble",
but, let's say a quarter-final in EL will tell that we're progressing and buliding a "new force".

When is the draw for the EL knock-out stage?

I agree 100%. I also find the mental reactions to this view from the internet ronny brigade puzzling. I think the implication from them is that you are less of a fan if you have doubts about RD.

The football we played against Partick for 90 minutes and Motherwell for the first 35 minutes or so was sexy as *. We're starting to click and it's exciting to be part of :50:

I still think this job is too big for him, still not seeing good sound tactics, still not seeing exciting football, so he ain't won me over !!!

It isn't four years ago though, so we cannot judge him by those standards. The huns don't exist either and their new club is not in our league, therefore we can only judge him based on current circumstances.

Maybe its a blessing. We have complained for how many years that we want a different system of play in Scotland and for Celtic - that takes time and you have to endure the bad in order to see the fruits of your labour. It's the ideal set up in order to do this in all honesty (bar Europe where no team will be easy or give you time). I think we just need to suck it up. We're already starting to see progress, maybe not massive progress but baby steps. I'm alright with that.

Im more concerned with the board and I think they shoulder much of the blame for which Ronny takes. I mean, maybe Ronny would have performed better as a manager with better players and access to more funds, such as the near £12m Mowbray had - an that is excluding loan fees.

People need to reassess their problems and give the guy some slack.

And there isn't competition in the league as it stands, just because some tribute act aren't here doesn't mean teams don't have ambition of challenging us,and even when the said tribute act are promoted to the top division for the first time what makes you so sure they will be challengers

Funny thing is , most of their fans don't believe they will even make the top 6 and yet some of our fans place this imaginary 'challenge' on a pedestal. :smiley-laughing002:

Good sound tactics???? I'd bet all the money in my wallet (ok.... it's not much) that he doesn't actually have a clue what he's on about and just wants to sound *.

We're playing 4-3-3, we're trying to press and pass the ball, we're trying to outscore the opponents. People over-analyse far too much, I'm not sure what "tactics" he should be deploying but I can guarantee whatever he suggests will be nothing more than moronic drivel.

Same as I have thought from the beginning.

Think he could do special things here, and needs time to properly get his own team in and get them playing exactly how he wants. I personally think we are just seeing signs of it now.

Don't think we will see it properly til next season at the earliest, but he is getting results now and we are playing pretty nice stuff, just getting unlucky on the end product side.

You not happy with the club's position at the moment?
