    These are my opinions on potential opponents.

    Man U are probably the most inconsistent, but are still a half decent side. Would still be a favourable draw for us though in my opinion.

    Malaga would be my choice. They've done really well in the CL and are certainly a tough opponent. But in all honesty they're no different to what we've already faced. We've played better teams with better players and I think we could get a result against them.


    Schalke might not be to bad either. A lot of EPL clubs are sniffing around their best players so come January they might lose a few, leaving their team weakend.


    I would rather avoid the Dortmund and Bayern (both of who have a very good chance of winning the competition) seeing as we would most likely be destroyed. Although we did beat Barca so who knows.


    Juventus might not be bad, but I think they would be pretty tough.


    PSG would be a team I would rather avoid. The spending power they have means they could easily strengthen their sqaud in January, and they already have some really good players i.e. Ibrahimović. Although they haven't done anything too spectacular so maybe I'm giving them too much credit.

    yes, thats absolute and ridiculous nonsense, we might not be the scary proposition we used to be, but we're far from weak as you'd see if you draw us. I hope we play celtic, great atmosphere and I reckon, while you've shown you're not to be understimated, we should be favourites, particularly playing the return game at home. Still, it'll be pretty close.

    On the other hand we've played several times in recent years and perhaps Id like to play Real at this stage. nothing to lose. there are a lot of clueless gimps who think we're "weak", so losing against madrid would be no shame, and if we beat them (which we stand a decent chance), we'll shut a few mouthy twats
