Lennon was a massive gamble and he is online to winning silverware this season ,There is now doubt now that is more than capable in managing Celtic and he has an excellent view on what type of players he wants as proving in the transfer market ,i can see him been manager for years to come .

Henrik on the other hand is doing it like most managers do ,start at the bottom to learn the trade and work his way up the ladder ,if he is good as what he does he will get noticed and offers will come in from others and again if he is doing well again bigger teams will take notice ,Cue Celtic in years to come but only after Lennon has done his job but Lennon will be a hard man to shift if he continues the way he is going.

One day im sure it will happen for Henrik but not for a while.

Funnily enough, a was just thinking how good it would of been if larsson had signed as a player when he came back. Even at his age he could of still done us a turn to end of the season and got himself amother title, would of been great!

Certainly give granpaw weir a run for his money :56:But seriously guys it's time to cut O'Neils army free. They were great guys in great times and as such will always be remembered........it's only a fantasy to imagine that they would all come back and be the management force of the team :86:

If Lenny succeeds this season he will succeed for seasons to come. Nobody will be able to shift Lenny whilst he's winning and we wouldn't let them without a fight anyway  Let's see how he does and I pray that he does do well this season because after all the * he's taken he deserves it more than anyone else does. :50:

The thing is we all want to see Celtic win everything - that's a given. If that happens with someone who we loved as a player (like Lenny) then all the better, because of this we'd all love to see the player we've loved best of all succeed as manager. The thing is - just because someones a good player it doens't mean they'll automatically be a good manager (David Platt, Bryan Robson) and just because someone couldn't play it doesn't mean they couldn't be a top manager (Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger). Who knows - Wayne Biggins could maybe come back as a great Celtic manager, can't see it though.

Back to Henrik - we all miss him and if he does return we'll welcome him back. I'd hate to see his image tarnished though. If he comes back in 5 years that'll mean anyone from under about 14 wouldn't even remember him as a player and may just remember his as a pish manager.

Would be * brilliant if it all went well though :50:

would absolutely be all for the idea in a couple of years but i think at the moment we have a winning formula and if its not broke.... i think already having mjallby, thommo and lenny adding henke would probably be too many voices in the dressing room. things would get confusing. i feel we are making huge strides at the moment with our 3 wise men but if one of them was to step aside for watever reason then henrik is the number one choice to replace them. hail hail :celt_2:

    What about Robert Douglas?

He was a terrible player, the only weak link in the Seville team, but check out the job he is doing up at Dundee as assistant manager.

With a squad of barely 11 players and a 25 point deduction Smith and him have Dundee sitting top of Division 1 (without points deduction) and looking at hitting 4th place with the deduction.

When the guys took over they Dundee were mid table and the 25 point deduction was seen as 'certain relegation.'

I'm hoping Lennon is in this job for many years to come, the only way I can see him leaving soon is the risk to his family, nothing to do with the footballing side of things because he's going great.

It would be amazing to have Larsson back here one day though, that's for sure.
