Should be a good game, neither team is really in great form and both have weaknesses but also capable of scoring plenty. Hopefully a 3-2, 4-3 or 3-3 type of game.

 

Pedri and Fati starting.

The two of them will be absolute superstars in a few years.

 

Fati already is really, has probably been their best player this season and pretty much world class already. Not much difference between him and someone like Hazard, wouldn't be surprised if he 20+ goals this season.

Not sure about Pedri starting though especially out wide, only seen him a couple of times so far and he looks a kind of one paced central player who is more like a Phil Foden type than a wide player. Suppose Messi will drop onto the left at times as Coutinho will push forward and he can play a bit more inside.

 

Busquets just letting Valverde run through there.

Best start to the Classico in year's. Mainly due to how garbage both are at the back..

This is quality to watch though..

Gotta be said, the Spanish and LaLiga really are showing up every other league in Europe for adding as much as possible to make the viewing experience as normal as possible.
The stadium/crowd graphics look a bit nafff if you look too closely, but used in the sense of just disguising the empty stand, it works well. The crowd noise are good - although I am sure native speakers may notice a bit of familarity and repetition with it - generally loud enough and the moans, groans and cheers are fairly onpoint, all things considered.

Meanwhile, sky and btsport are offering near to * all for the UK game/viewers.

Midweek as well, get caught out with that. The backline for Barca massively lets them down.

Defo a pull and a pen, but the dive by Ramos surely needs questioned.

No denying the tug and by the letter of the game these days, it gets given, but really was it enough to stop him from jumping in time for the ball? Not for me, he dived to get the pen.

That's no even a contentious penalty for me..

It wasn't a subtle pull. Was a yard between them and pulling it for a couple seconds..

Don't pull the shirt in the box. Especially with var..

 

The argument will be, if he doesn't go down, does he get it?

No question he milks it but that's a foul. Do that to someone outside the box breaking away from you and it's an instant yellow..

 

Yeah, cant argue against that man.

I think if he stays on his feet, he does get the ball, but the tug is obvious as * and as you say, anywhere else on the field would be a freekick.

The dive just ruins it for me, personally think a punishment should be made for that as well.
