With our injury problems and Toure not being ready, he's the best best option to play next to Erik. Jozo and Toure will probably push him out in time, though. I'd imagine he'll feature as a DM for us, more often than not.

    Big fella played well.

    Definitely his natural position.

Strong in the tackle and composed on the ball, very impressed.

I think his pace is ok. Nothing special but enough for his area of the park.

A moment in the game he took it down the wing and won a corner, looks to have good power in his running once he gets those giant giraffe legs going.

agree to disagree, I think he's a few yards short of pace but he makes up for it with his intelligence, positioning and passing. His height is a big bonus as well.

Was surprised to see how quick he is. I think this boy could be a star for us in the future.

    At 6ft 5 though it isn't a surprise he's no rapid. :smiley-laughing002:

But aye, he looks a prospect all the same.

Thought he was the best player for us against Inter. Held his position up well, made space, ran with the ball without any hesitations. Lacks pace but has quality.

My first impressions aren't great but he's very young. Hopefully goes out on loan for some experience.

Just watched the game there. Thought he was our best player. Composed on the ball with some great passes, and a couple of nice tackles.

You can tell he's played senior football for a while.

Haven't saw yesterday's game yet. But it's good to see young lads like Ajer getting the experience. Also seems a lot of positive comments about his performance. He is being coached by the right man in Brendan.

As much as he looks a prospect, I can't see him getting many games this season or making many match day squads when everyone is fit.

It looks as if he will be playing with our development squad mostly during this first 6 months so he can settle into life at the club and Glasgow and then maybe during the second half of the season he can get loaned out to someone in Scotland for some experience of the league. Lenny would be good for him.

Very honest & humble of you for a change. Do you rate Ajer though?
