    Boy looks even slower than Mulgrew.

    I wonder what his best position will be, because it certainly won't be the left-hand side of a 3 man defence.

    I've watched him a few times now and I have to say I am impressed and I think given the time he could be a big player for us. He seems a bit edgy on the ball but when he's marking and tracking back he looked very switched on and looked like a pro.

    I would rather not risk him if it's a bad one.

    Fuuuuuck. Thought everything was going decent regarding injuries. Tough one for him, hopefully it's not serious enough to keep him out for a decent amount of time. At same time, it's the type that can effect your mindset more than your physical ability, so best to have it 100% healed before he's put back in IMO.

    Right, so the only finger on his hand that he DOESN'T necessarily need is keeping him out from playing FOOTBALL?

    * sake :56::56::56::rolleyes:

    I've played as a 'keeper before WITH a broken finger. What the *, why isn't he traveling? :97: * excuse, we could've used him in the starting XI.

    It's not his finger though, "just below his thumb" was what Rodgers said.. They probably need a tailor-made cast for him to play with the injury, no point risking playing him and aggravating the injury.

    Besides, with all the shirt-holding in modern football you can't really play without a steady grip :icon_mrgreen:

    Ok, I'm lost... why would a professional football player not need full use of his hand? So, holding people at arms length, grabbing tops, ability to grab the ball for quick placements for free kicks doesn't matter? Pain every time he hits the hand off of players/the ground won't affect his performances?

    If it'd been ANY other bone in his hand it could just be strapped onto the hand and fine, but the thumb is the worst in my opinion.
