I'll wait until I've seen full 90 minute performances from guys before commenting. YouTube highlight reels are great, but just that, 'highlights'.

I can't say for sure, but I'd be very surprised if he is better than Bitton already as I really rate Bitton. Think this year might be too early for him to be a mainstay every week, in saying that Roberts and Tierney have both showed you can be a mainstay at whatever stage. Still, I think DM is still Bittons place for now and I believe Brendan will turn him into a real sought after player this season.

He loves a slide tackle. Him and Tierney can kick each other up and down Lennoxtown.

Aye, without the arrogance from what we've seen. Appears a very level-headed boy.

Looks 'a real specimen' to use a Neil Lennon phrase.

Good feeling about this boy, never read a bad word on him. Very mature head and knows where he wants to be. If he plays as good as he talks I can see him getting a good few games which may cement his place in the team. Age counts for nothing when you are class.

Either hope he gets a run of games or gets sent out on loan. Don't want him to disappear like some others have.

Wouldn't mind him with Lenny for a year if he has to go out on loan, hopefully he makes an impact this season though. I still maintain I think he should be Bittons understudy this season.

Agreed. And hopefully Nirlo raises his game from now on, I feel he can be too casual. Brilliant when he's at it.
High hopes for young Ayer too.

He shouldn't be sent out on loan. Should be challenging Bitton for a position in midfield.

Pre season games will show if he can challenge already, personally I have my doubts think it may be too early and a loan would do him good if that be the case. Lenny would look after him that's for sure.

As I've said though, hopefully he impresses enough to be firm in the managers first team plans this season.

Would be better for him to stay here for 6 months though and let him settle before loaning him out. If he doesn't look up to it we could loan him out in January.

He's done half a training session.

Do we have much success loaning guys out in the modern era?

I think that about after 4 or 5 weeks of the new season we'll be laughing at the thought of loaning him out to someone else.
