  1. Parting gift from Ronny :50:

  2. He could be the Petrov of the Barnes shambles. Loads of promise let's see what he will be like under a new manager

  3. Plus the fact no player from Scandinavia has ever lived up to much at Celtic

  4. U wot m8?

  5. .......:56:

  6. I don't even know what to say

    Are you * serious.
Where the * do you think King Henrik came from.
    Also, Big Shuggie Edvaldsson.

  7. As a Scandinavian I'm slightly offended by your stupidness tbh :smiley-laughing002:

  8. I thought that comment was a ridiculously obvious bit of sarcasm

    Atleast I hope.

  9. As did I.

  10. I'm sort of hoping for that too :smiley-laughing002:

  11. Aye, he's definitely being sarcastic.

If not, I'll be getting the first bus up the road to Belfast tomorrow morning to give him a good clip round the ear. :smiley-laughing002:

  12. Aye, it's pretty funny tbf.

Still, you canny always be sure with some of the roasters around here. :smiley-laughing002:

  13. As did moi.

  14. It's a few weeks old, but Ajer has spoken about the effect Ronny leaving has on him coming to Celtic;

  15. I don't think we do have 'a lot of managers'. Since 2000 we had O'Neill 2000-2005, Strachan 2005-2009, Mowbray 2008-09, Lennon 2010-2014 and Deila 2014-2016.

Anyway, I keep forgetting about this guy. I really hope he can hit the ground running.

  16. 5 in 16 years might seem a lot to him over in Norway mind, don't know what the average job length is over there.

I agree though, compared to other clubs we haven't had that many. Genuinely Celtic managers haven't stuck around for long tenures in recent history anyway. It's rare a manager will anywhere nowadays to be honest with the all the temptation elsewhere as soon as success comes along.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing him. Major coup, he will be hoping Rodgers comes in I feel.

  17. 3 in 7 years is a bit much right enough.

  18. He's 18 and Norwegian I think we can overlook the translated quotes!

The crux of the quote is he doesn't particularly care that Deila has left, which is all we really need to hear.

  19. He can't really say anything else either tbh - the important thing is that he'll be here next season.
