Kris Commons is 27 and in his prime. He signed for us for something like £300,000, which was a phenomenal bit of business. He may well be instrumental in winning us the SPL this year, he has most certainly played his part.

Fantastic bit of business whatever happens.

Could grow into a legend here if he'll stay around. I hope so. I wouldn't sell unless he wants away.

To us at this moment in time , he is TRULY PRICELESS , he broke the deadlock when we were stuggling to score against both Hamilton and St Mirren at home , he is that type of player who can perform a wonder strike to get us out of jail

But to be honest if he were sold , I doubt he would fetch more than 2 million , our players never get the recognition they deserve

Did anyone see his press conference with Neil Lennon.

Kris was speaking about joining the hoops and how he was really happy about it. He said that part of the reason was that he knew "lenny" from Forrest and that he had always spoken very highly about Celtic. Now that "lenny" was in charge, he had no hesitation to make the move.

Neil replied, that's great Kris, it's "boss" now.

I paraphrase obviously, but that was the gist.

there is also a new pressure on him, in previous clubs he could have been seen to be the star player in the team with little competition or pressure on his place in the starting 11, up here the quality of the squad in so much greater than he knows he cannot afford to be lazy or complacent or else Maloney, Forrest, ljungberg, Paddy, McGinn will all be waiting in the wings to take his spot.

He's also joined the club at a special time and must be finding the support amazing.

frankly i woudn't sell him, he's a great player and at 27 he's entering his peak years and will be a key player for us for many seasons to come with bags of experience having played in the championship and with Scotland for so long.
