I wouldn't sell him, he's worth more to the team than any offer we would get.

scored a few goals against the scum which makes it ever better. i think he's very similar to thommo with the way he strikes the ball and bags quite a few goals aswell.

Is it not 7 games? I thought it was, ach its not a big deal anyway :icon_mrgreen:

Commons IMO is the best Far side midfielder in Scottish Football at the moment.

Commons has been really excellent, a versatile goalscoring midfielder he brings so much to the team, not sure about his current value but that dosen't matter cause he aint going anywhere :shamrock:

He had a superb game against Killie. Kris is really blossoming into a brilliant player for us.

3.5 - 4 million, his age is the only thing that would work against hm being worth a lot more. No way he'll be sold though, he's ours for the next few seasons:icon_mrgreen:

I'd take no less than £5m for him. Quality signing, not to mention an absolute steal at £300,000. Probably one of the best bits of business we've done since getting Ghod for £650,000 back in 1997.

Aye, but the thing is, he is playing much better much more regularly for us than he did in England.

At his previous clubs, he had a strong reputation of being inconsistent - I remember seeing one guy on an English forum say that at every single game he had been to that season, Commons had been "either the best or the worst player on the park".

Something about the atmosphere and setup here has raised his consistency up to the next level. I think it may be that the expectation on Celtic of winning every game has brought out the best in him. :50:

I don't know what his fee would be if sold. Certainly in the 3-5m category right now you would think. But boy am I glad we have him. What a terrific impact he has made since coming in January. It's not just his goals. Everybody rightly talks about what a great partnership Stokes and Hooper have up front. But now Commons is there as well and he seems to link up just as brilliantly with Stokes and Hooper as they do themselves.

I think the reason he plays so well for us is because hes Scottish.

They say he was inconsistent at derby, but now hes a Celtic player hes better.

    Top player.:50:

doesnt matter what he is worth he is at the age where he will want to settle at one team for the remainder or much of the remainder of his career and he is already loved here so just enjoy having him rather than putting a tag on him leave that to the board
