He's playing it perfectly if he's wanting a career in the media after he's retired.

He got asked this at a Q&A I was at a few months back and he said much the same, said there's no better feeling then scoring against them as a Celtic player and he misses that.

He should know by now to just not say * like he said. Does nothing but perpatrate the myth that Scottish football needs a dead club.

Are we dropping him for Saturday? I don't know tbh. A tough decision.

    Him or Armstrong.

Don't think you can, he's our biggest source of goals on the pitch. Hard decision.

For the weekend I'd rest Bitton and have Armstrong next to Brown, noticed he needed treatment again today for a bit. After a late fitness test midweek and the way his * leg bent that game it might be well deserved.

Can Armstrong play there? Thought Henderson would be the better option.

I don't think Commons will be playing the full game on Saturday anyway (he's a wee bit jiggly round the edges and it will be 2 games in 4 days) so Armstrong and GMS will both be on the pitch at some point.

    He's got to play imo.

Possibly rest Bitton, with Johansen in with Brown, and GMS and Armstrong in for Stokes and Forrest?

Aye, he's quite happy in any of the positions we play in midfield. It's a nice headache to have though, isn't it?

Still our biggest goal threat and he's usually a decent shout for finishing the season with a bit of a flurry of goals.

I just don't really want to bench Armstrong, lol. I'd rather have GMS play, but just because it gives us another option as I think Johansen, Armstrong and Commons are all fairly similar players (maybe its a bit much to say Johansen & Commons, but much more so than Johansen & GMS).

It's fair to say that we'll be able to field a much higher caliber of team on Saturday than we did tonight so we should pump them, Utd clearly cannae hack 2 games a week.

Anything but Johansen in next to Brown, it just doesn't work at all.

I'd have Commons, Johansen and GMS in behind Griffiths. With Brown and Armstrong sitting deeper.

I'd rather Henderson than Armstrong playing in beside Brown tbh. Armstrong plays further forward.

You want your young players playing in their proper positions at this stage in their career as well.

I think what will happen is that Commons will start with Johansen & GMS and Armstrong will come on for Commons around the 60 min mark.

Yeah I agree it's not the ideal 2, but I think it's what Ronny may go with.

I have a feeling he is going to hit the twenty goal mark this season . Just a constant source of goals for us . With GMS and Armstrong finally back Ronny has some thinking to do for sure ....

    Brown Biton

    Commons Johansen GMS

would be my favourite selection at this point in time , with Armstrong and Commons taking turns for game time ( not a fan of Johansen playing deep )

Stokes and Forrest are going to struggle for game time in the long run .

To hit the 20 mark he'd need to score 9 goals from the 13 games we have left (assuming we get to the cup final). Whilst that is certainly possible I can't see it happening as I don't think he'll start every game

That is how I want us to go on Saturday as well. Johansen in next to Brown is a no no, we have seen that it doesn't work.

That's Commons end of season form though, he's usually goal for goal in the last 10 or so games in the run in.
