What team wouldn't be 'out on their feet' after getting to two cup finals, a quarter final and playing 38 league games in one season?

Almost beats the sevconian on superscoreboard saying that Lee Wallace is the best left back in the UK for how ridiculous it is.

Not sure if you're on the wind up though...

It won the league by 17 points and the scottish cup the season after with larsson , sutton , thompson and lennon all performing brilliantly.

Celtic are a team in transition at the moment and while i dont think Commons fits into Ronnys system i dont think we have a better scoring AM.

Goals win matches, goals get you points.

I honestly think it would be suicidal if Ronny lets Commons contract run down..Give him his contract ,a happy Commons will still get goals in the SPFL which i think is vital.

Ronny must win the the SPFL in his first season or it will have been seen as complete failure.

It's two wingers with a central attacking midfielder. Hence why Deila said when he first arrived, we badly required wingers. That is why Mackay-Steven has been signed on a PCA, because he is a winger, and we badly need one. It is also why Tonev & Wakaso were signed, but they haven't worked out.

Things have changed since then, hence why Stokes is the first man in an attacking sense in that 3 and Johansen isn't really an attacking midfielder.

When James Forrest plays he doesn't really play as a winger, he plays that role where he goes inside and supports. The same role GMS will play.

    We don't play with wingers.

Stokes has played as a winger since being moved position mate, we do play with wingers for me. Forrest often cuts inside with the ball, that doesn't mean he isn't being played as a winger though.

Not for me, both are playing as attacking midfielders. There's a major difference for me.

I disagree, and I think we will look even better when we get natural wingers brought into the team. Mackay-Steven for example. There is no question Deila wants to play with wingers in my opinion, hence why he highlighted that as a weakness in our team when he had barely set foot in the door. Stokes has adapted his game, and done so very well, and is operating as left winger for me. The right side we have more of a problem though, because our best option in terms of being a winger, is injured all too often.

Again I completely disagree because Stokes isn't operating as a winger for me, the one who provides the width and play on the wing, getting to the byline etc is Izzy.

Stokes is the one who will put his foot on the ball and come inside, gets up and supports the striker and plays Izzy through on the wing. He's very far from a proper winger in my opinion.

Commons does the same on the right, as has Forrest from the little we've saw of him this season. It's not wingers.

Stokes constantly hogs the touchline and looks to link up with Izaguirre mate. So he is still providing width. Whenever Izaguirre receives the ball, Stokes gets himself as wide as he possibly can.

Apparently someone "in the know" has said on Twitter that he's signed a new deal.

And he done mostly the same as a striker, doesn't mean he's playing as a winger. Stokes just moves into space, he's said before his job is to get up and support the striker and play close to him.

As I said earlier, it will look even better when we get natural wingers in, something which our manager has pointed out as a weakness, and tried to rectify, as our signings suggested, with Tonev and Wakaso being brought in, but unfortunately they haven't worked out.

Think so? I think it'd take a huge part away from our game, mainly space for our full backs to attack. They currently operate where our 'wingers' would play. Leaving the striker more isolated. In a 4231 wingers are the last thing you want, its why Robben and Ribery don't play it for Bayern or Muller and co for Germany, the most important thing is to get into the box and support the striker.

Having wingers there doesn't help that and would only hinder our play.
