Sorry, have I missed something here. Where has that been suggested? It was you who effectively brought Stokes into the debate with your nonsense about if Commons dad had a pub in Dublin.....

Well it's obvious that he is more deserving isn't it?

Stokes has been our most creative player this season.

Kris is probably under MASSIVE pressure from his missus to move. Will miss him, he was a MASSIVE contribution to our squad

Both should be in the team. Stoker as a second striker and Commons at the top of the diamond.

Even with the wrong formation that we currently play, if Stokes is to be on the left then Commons should be in the middle or right hand side of the bank of 3.

He is the best player in Scotland.

The fact he has won a Norweigan league title with Stromsgodset, would certainly suggest that he knows a bit about football, probably more than you or I. I'm not sure why it is so hard for some to realise that every manager will have different views on players. If we were talking about a Lubo Moravcik or Henrik Larsson here then I would perhaps agree, however, we aren't.

Commons on the right and Stokes on the left. That sounds like *. We would have no pace in the team whatsoever.

It is a very simple argument. Commons is our best player. I know what he can do. You know what he can do. If our manager does not then his judgement is poor.

I give RD the benefit of the doubt in this matter as i reckon that the real boss is interfering with 1st team matters again and that is why he has been used sparingly. I refuse to see how a real football man could not see his value.

We would have guile though. Why not give usain bolt a contract then if speed is more important than end product and creativity?

He was our best player last season, playing in a different set up. If he goes, he goes, it's not a big deal in my opinion. We have lost far, far better and influential players in the past, and we have got on fine.

Why all this hatred for commons? Brilliant player for us. Even in Europe.

No we wouldn't. Stop sucking up the guys *, it's pathetic.

He's put in one good performance all season, against Killie the other week and even then he missed 2 or 3 good chances and never stopped shooting when he could and should have passed.

He's a greedy * and slows everything down.

Of course it isn't more important but pace is an important factor in football. Our football just now is far too laboured and predictable. Imagine Stokes, Commons, Johansen and Guidetti as the attack. It would be dire to watch, our build up play would be far too slow.

In this formation, the two wide players really need to have a bit of pace about them, and of course end product. But the player in behind the striker should be the most creative player in the team. Commons isn't either of those.

Id be really interested to see the chance creation stats between Johansen and Commons because when Johansen has played so advanced as Commons he has created numerous chances and it has really been our poor finishing that has led to his lacking in the assists column. For the record I want Commons to stay but he may eventually have to become a super sub especially as of next season.

Is it clueless to want your best player in the team instead of being punted out the door so that our chief executive can prove he is the main man.

This place. It is madness, absolute madness people not only condoning this practice but actively wanting him out of the team. Clueless.

You reap what you sow in life, some people wont be happy until we have Keith Lasley hatcheting his way through. People have short memories.

Commons will be a big loss and we will be a poorer side without him

This 100% , love Commons but he slows us down to much ...maybe we could use him more like a super sub?

Also the argument about lack of pace is redundant. If we are to play possession football a "lock picker" is more important than speed. Speed is an asset is you have space to put it to use. Against SPFL blanket defenses we rarely have this space.

I wouldnt say Commons is a legend but he has been a fine player for us and the disrespect he is getting from some posters is a disgrace.

You need a mix of both, every good team has it.

Ronny has said since day one he wants fast, skillful players going forward.

He isn't being disrespected. Nobody is having a go at time, we're just saying he isn't good enough.
