    But he never mentioned that he was. He said he wanted to be. You were the one to question something that he never claimed.

    Also... Why are you comparing his interview to something Messi would say?

    I honestly think you sound like someone who just hasn't warmed to him or has taken a disliking to him for some reason.

    That's fine, I'm guilty of it myself (Paul Telfer was never a Celt in my opinion).

    You seem to think he's played a huge part in our history.

    I don't have a dislike, he's just severely overrated. Decent player with a good shot. One outstanding season, two seasons were he done nothing.

    "Recent history"

    He was a midfielder that scored less than one in three goals. He was a part of a team that won 5 titles I think and got through the CL group stages at least once. In what way is he overrated?

    Explains why he never got a proper chance. Although playing for hibs I bet his back was in pain after every match. Hope he signs up with hibs and scores 30+ pushing them into 2nd in front of Aberdeen and st Johnstone then hearts.

    Back pains one pain I'd not wish on anybody. Iv been laid up on the floor needing a morphine injection just to get up. I'd rather break a leg any day of the week.
