Sad to see Commons go what a servant he has been to the club, maybe one day he will get a position at the club, as he deserves it and he is such a great influence on the other players, just like Toure.

On the radio they asked him what his plan was for the future and he said he's staying in Glasgow because his kids are all Celtic mad. He says they refuse to go to bed at night unless they're wearing the hoops.

Was nearly greeting in work listening to that.

He must surely be back as a coach at some point in the future. Such a naturally talented footballer, two good feet, always stepping up for us in big games, loves the club and everything it means to the fans.

I think our young players coming through could learn so much from him.

Canny believe folk on here thought the huns were going to * him up. Him and his family are Celtic daft.

 

I feel as if the end to his Celtic career could have gone in a more deserving manner had it not been for the past few seasons where things other than injuries have plagued him. One of Lennon's best signings and was always a big player to match the big occasion. Hope he gets a club that utilize his ability so that he showcases that he's still got a few years left in him.

 

If he wants to stay in Glasgow, then he and Hibs are a perfect fit, surely. Edinburgh is definitely within commuting distance (unlike Aberdeen) and he's too much of a Celtic fan to play for the Huns or mini-Huns and too good for one of the diddy teams.

 

Chances of him retiring and taking on a sort of Club Ambassador role?

 

Terrific servant to the club overall and been a pleasure to watch him play for the Hoops.

Can only see him having a couple of years at either Hibs or Hearts. Can't see him going to Aberdeen considering they're the nearest thing we have to a challenge and don't see Commons wanting to get into any sort of rivalry with the club with the end of his career coming up in the next couple of years.

Hopefully see him back at Parkhead in a coaching capacity after his next club.
