    Definitely, major part of the start of the 10, major part in establishing as in Europe after the disaster that was Mowbray, nearly 100 goals from midfield.

    Not many had a bigger impact than he had for us mate, guys had a brilliant Celtic career. Need to go back to Lennox before you find another midfielder to score over 30 goals in a season, guys in here saying that was a freak season.

    He hit over 30 in a season twice, first time it was just spread between us and Derby though.

    I've high hopes for Sinclair though.

    By "one of the best" what do you mean? Top 10? Top 20?

    In that squad alone I'd have Hooper, Wanyama, Forster, Brown, Ledley and Lustig ahead of him.

    He scored and assisted basically all of our goals in the EL last season.

    Diddies like Ambrose, Izzaguirre and Allan cost us in games we should won or at least drawn.

    The wankfest over Commons on here is quite something. His best season in Europe was in an average Europa League group. He wasn't all that good in the CL.

    Ledley, Hooper and Lustig all outperformed him at that level.

    Neither Ledley nor Lustig ever came come to outperforming Commons in Europe, at any level - CL or EL.

    Average? It was the toughest group we could have got, in fact some were calling it a "Champions League group". He was single-handedly dragging us through games, only to be let down by the ignoramus in the dugout and his * below standard team-mates like Ambrose, Izzaguirre, Allan, Johansen etc.
