I * loved it at the time. Guy was as * frustrated as us. Only thing we seen from the bench that night anyway.

Doubt it, we clearly wanted him out and he's not left. Brendan probably won't be happy about it.

100% he will be unhappy not playing any football if he isnt leaving perm he need sent out on loan we don't need the potential of an unhappy player around the training ground

Agreed. He was doing it because of his inflated opinion of himself. Said it before but that's why I've never taken to him like some others have, think he likes the sound of his own voice too much. For a period of time he seemed to have interviews in the papers every other day.

The worst was when he chucked Ambrose under the bus after the Juventus game. I know he was awful that night but you don't publicly slate your own teammate.

'If he wasn’t feeling OK then he should have said so. If he felt good then he should have put in a better performance.

There are certain individuals who let the team down.

The back four have made errors which have probably cost us the tie.'

I never once said he was negative on the team i said i would rather him gone so he does not have a negative effect going forward its easy to be all smiles for a couple of months at the start of the season when you are 10 months in without a game then you will see some grumblings.

I find it amazing that ambrose, mackay Steven, boyata and ciftci have all been given a chance again by Rodgers but Commons hasn't even had a sniff. I hope that when we we've wrapped up the league he gets some minutes so we get to say goodbye to him properly.

I think those higher up may have said to Rodgers about getting him off the wage bill tbh, that and he doesn't really fit into the high pressing tempo we play at now.

Ambrose got a chance cos we had no fit defenders, the rest had potential resale value.

Hope he gets the chance to say goodbye before the end of the season. If not it would be good to see him in the Henke/Lubo charity match.

I believe no matter how much Commons does in training he will not make it to the first team, maybe on the bench if he's lucky. I reckon Lawell has wired Brendan of to make an example of him, after his outburst at the bench. I did feel his frustration but a decision has been made to exclude Kris to send a clear message to the rest of the squad. Brendan does not tolerate petulance.

Absolute guff that, mate. If they wanted to make an example of him, they'd have sold him over a year ago - when the incident was still fresh.

He's not playing because he's slow and doesn't work particularly hard out of possession. That's all.

I do hope he gets a wee outing before he leaves the club. He's been one of my favourite players, he#s scored some big goals since he joined, and he's been a real bargain for us. Hope he stays in Scotland and does well for Hibs or someone.

Sad that any player that has had a good career here at Celtic and has had the fans in the palm of his hands, career has ended up like this but he probably more than anyone is to blame for that, he signed a decent contract last time out and obviously doesn't want to move and get less so.... is sitting put and taking his wage. It's just one of these things that happen nowadays when a player gets older and falls out of favour, i'm sure he has had many opportunities to leave but the current salary has led to him staying put!
