How is it idiotic, season before he scored 32 goals and had scored goals in the current season 2014/15

He didn't ask for a loan, lennon asked for him and we obliged

How do you know he is on £20k a week?

At the end of the day we gave these guys the contracts so the blame (if you can call it that) lies with Celtic!

If as @Immortan says he is on £20k a week that's £420k he is due to the end of the season maybe we did offer and he said no thanks, it is his contractual right, we will never know at the end of the day he is a celtic player and that's that, he will leave in the summer.

Perhaps a chance for a farewell game after the leagues officially wrapped up

Isn't the 'loan window' still open a few weeks?

He can still go out to Hibz or another.. Sure he'd rather be playing somewhere.

Disappointing that nothing was able to be sorted with regards to Commons moving on. Likewise with the other players who were informed before the start of the season, that they wouldn't be part of Rodgers plans( Ciftci,Ambrose et al)

I would hope as a result of this, the managers plans weren't hindered in taking the club on as he sees fit.

He's getting out through his coaching badges is he not?

A really don't like when people are negative about commons, especially when * like ciftci and bailly are taking a wage and have done * all for the club.

Yea its possible we offered and he refused, and i agree its his right to do so if this is the case. Im not putting him down, far from it. He has been a great servant to our club and will always be be fondly remembered. I just feel that he must be frustrated knowing he will play no part for us and for his benefit we should have released him during the window and allowed him to find a new club and get back playing. Would be great, now he is staying, to see him feature before the end of the season to saygoodbye to the fans and for the fans to say goodbye and thank him for his service.

I would say its more down to that he wouldn't dare behave in the same manner with this manager, than he did under the previous management.

Also that this manager has dealt with the situation earlier and more comprehensively than the previous manager did.

He was at hibs for 30 days! This manager takes no bull from no-one he has said multiple times Kris has done his training, knows the score and has got on with it, if he was an issue he would have had his contract paid in full and ripped up by the club last night!

I dont think his attitude is an issue anymore, more so that BR doesnt see him as a player that fits into his pressing system.

The thing is, as senior player his attitude shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. However it was last season and he got away with it, due to the inexperience of the manager and the situation at the time. Which is even more disappointing for me.

He undermined the managers position, which was to the detriment of the teams performance.

As I said he wouldn't dare try that with Rodgers because he wouldn't get the same outcome he got with Ronny.

Whilst i don't condone his actions last season, i believe he done the wrong thing for the right reasons. You could argue that as a senior player he had a duty to do something given the state of things and the way things wer going under Ronny. He was obviously very passionate about the club and chose to try do something about it. What he chose to do was misguided but as i said,he done the wrong thing at the right time.

I didn't at the time and still don't buy into this narrative that he was doing it for the club.

I find it disappointing that his behaviour is viewed by some as a "heroic" or good act.

I hope he gets one more appearance before he leaves. Even if its a sub for 10 minutes, he deserves a proper send off. Would be * to see him leave like this after all the big goals and big games he had for us.
