He acted the * but did the right thing and publicly apologised the following morning. It should have been forgotten about then. Anyone using it as a stick to beat him with, are clutching at straws.

 

He done the wrong thing for the right reasons

 

I certainly wouldn't describe it as a highlight, but I think Ronny deserved it and am glad someone showed a bit of passion (not sure if that was my view at the time, but it is now).

To be clear, I think Ronny deserved it for his European record, which was abysmal, and (more importantly) his stubborn refusal to learn from his mistakes in that regard. For all that, I still think Ronny is a decent manager with some good ideas and got a lot right here, I don't think he deserves all the stick he gets on here.

 

Ronny is far more of a coach, than a manager.

 

Heard from my Hibby mate that he's signing for Aberdeen. Anyone heard similar?

 

Was rumours few days ago but wouldn't see this happening in this window, unless Aberdeen do lose Hayes then it has potential.

He's had 2 offers from down South in last 7 days but player showed no interest in (for reasons outwith football). Hibs still counting thier pennies trying to make this work, with the upcoming Derby game being Lennons push to get Leeanne to loosen the pursue strings and to guarantee the promotion.

Certainly wouldn't rule Aberdeen out if Hayes moves but it would be 2nd favourite to Hibs move in this window as easier travel for player given his location/family.

 

There's rumours he's off to Aberdeen on loan. Nothing sure how concrete they are.

 

Can't you only loan 1 player from a club in the same division?

 

My understanding of it is same as you Immortan, can be 2 players from same club if in different league but only one if is in same league. I'm going from memory couple of seasons back so I may be wrong.

 

I would hope not. They are still arguably our closest competition and we have given them a decent player already in Christie. Still have to show them respect to some degree, no matter how far ahead we are.

 

Not sure but don't think there's much in it anyway.

 

I'm convinced that if Commons was to come into the side instead of Bitton, moving Brown back to the holding role, he strike a super partnership with Armstrong. Rogic has been great as well of course. I don't think Commons is finished yet though.

 

Personally I still think commons is one of the best in scotland. I also see it as Rodgers breaking the player power within the changing room. He's off in the summer if not this window.

 

Commons is finished with us and rightly so. If he had any part to play, then he wouldn't have been loaned out in December.

As for a farewell appearance, well he can join the lap of honor at the end of the season, if he's still here.
