He loves Celtic and has given his all , loved watching him play and personally wish he was 10 years younger, always has videos up with him and his missus with wee Jay etc and singing Celtic songs , he had one season where he didnt score much if any but he has been brilliant for us

 

Why do you hate these people so much, they were vital parts of our squad back then and they done the business for us. Also on top of that Commons has always seemed like a legitimately decent bloke.

I was * delighted about him doing that. Was like having someone there for the fans to vent their frustration, loved it.

 

Immortan has a serious hate * for anything to do with Lenny. It's bizarre for a Celtic fan.

I think that was Commons' point.

 

When people look back on the 2010-14 seasons a couple people come to mind... as I've been told I use the term "Club Legend" to much so ill just call them team icon.... Commons is surely one of them for this time frame in Celtic History. People get * off because players get older and cant do the job like they use to. They need to learn that that player was still a serious part of the teams... Stokes, Hoops, Samaras, Mulgrew all club icons through the Lennon and Ronny.

 

As was I. We were all feeling the same. For so many reasons, under Rodgers, it wouldn't happen or be allowed to happen.

I'm another who thought it was out of order. Completely undermined the manager and I think that was always one of Deila's big problems; seemed to be undermined by players who had been part of a successful reign and were now being told what to do by somebody that they had never heard of, and had no reputation.

Thankfully though it's all worked out and it would never happen under Rodgers. Wish Commons all the best though, it's a shame that he probably won't get a proper send off.

 

Don't really have much of an issue with that Commons did against Molde but I wouldn't be praising him for it either.

Remember thinking it was bizarre at the time to take him off, so could understand his frustrations, but he probably should have vented them behind closed doors.

Find it bizarre people will hold a moment of frustration against him after years of quality service at the club. Think people do be just looking for reasons to get offended or moan.

 

Signed for a pittance and stormed the league in a fashion akin to what Sinclair is going now perhaps.

Immediately after that though for one reason or another had one * honker of season.

Turned it around the following seasons and scored vault full of goals in the process albeit he was a greedy * haha.

Had his outburst at Molde but that was so out of character for me that I would be willing to forgive them on it, is not like he had tons of previous with similar instances whilst a player for us.

All in all you couldn't ask for a better return on a player bought so cheaply, at the end of day in the heat of the moment I doubt anyone of us would have been able to contain ourselves any better then commons at Molde.

 

* is happening with commons, is he staying on loan at the hibees or is he coming back to sit in the reserves?

 

This I wouldn't/wont be praising him for it, as it was wrong simple as that. However he was a great signing and I wish he could have got a better send off but wish him all the best in whatever he does.
