He said goodbye to the fans the end of last season.

Now he's our first choice left back with KT out!

Brendan said he will speak to Kris and Neil to come up with the solution for everyone.

Brendan also said Kris showed a great attitude in training.

Kris is up there with one of my fave Celtic players ever. Top man, top professional and great player. Saddening to see him go but a neccesary evil I suppose.

Does anyone know EXACTLY why Brendan just does not fancy him?

I think Kris might have had a good year or two left in him, but i cant say I'm too surprised that he's been overlooked at the moment.

Having said that, hes also a legend in my eyes, a real matchwinner for us and as you say a top professional, which definitely rubs off on other players.

I'm wondering how * be remembered, maybe a maestro like lubo or a technical Naka type with a sweet left foot. Personally i think hes a bit of both and ill remember him for a long time.

Let's get this straight.....Stokes is NOT a Celtic legend.

A decent player and someone I like but calling him a legend is disengenous to the many that have played for this club who have earned the right to be called that.

Unless you are his agent of course :celt_2:

Whether we agree with Brendan or not you have to say that unlike many he has been straight and above board with Kris, many managers would have not said that and just had him kicking about under false pretences which in reality doesn't suit the club or the player.

A perfect record bar one draw in the league tells me that Brendan's judgement seems more right than wrong and as much as I love Kris and have always been a big supporter of him I bow to Bremdans superior knowledge on this one and send nothing but goodwill and best wishes to Kris

He's saying he's a Hibs legend. Which he is now.

He was talking about Hibs im sure no Celtic :56:

Scored a double to win them their first Scottish Cup in about 115 year or something.

If that's what he was inferring then yes as far as Hibs are concerned he certainly would be :50:

Love Commons, really do. Some of the goals he produced for us :50:, glad he's on the score sheet for them.

Would love for Commons to come back, but equally, I could see him staying at Hibs (Lennon wouldn't mind building the team around him, I don't think).

Nah. He can't close down and press the game the way Rodgers wants his players too. It's never gonna happen.
