His reaction after getting subbed was bang out.

It's obvious you love Commons and hate Deila so it's poitnless even debating over it.

Bit ironic saying Armstrong gets 1 shot in 20 on target, which even you know is a ridiculous statement. Commons shoots from all angles because he's greedy, most of them flying over the bar or going wide. Armstrong has 3 goals in 9 games in the league so far. Commons got 4 in 21 last season.

Saying we wouldn't have lost if Commons had played against the huns is nonsense as well.

Check Celticfc.net and go through the fixtures at the beginning of the season. That's how I know that.

Fair enough. Thanks. I can't believe a professional football player managed 4 full games!

Cannae really believe how much stick your getting mate for an obvious statement that Kris Commons has been a brilliant servant to the club, not just on the field but off the field through the Celtic Foundation. Celtic are not just about football he is a great ambassador along with his missus for this club and the club should give him the last half hour in a game that's won before he leaves in January, we as a fans and the club owe him that much.

No, it wasn't. It was a reaction of someone who wants to win.

It's obvious you love Deila and hate Commons (see I can do that too). What a *-poor way to try strengthen your argument.

Almost as ridiculous as you comparing Commons scoring record to Armstrongs.

Nonsense? Yeah because stating that a player who has been a match winner in derby games numerous times before would have made a huge difference is nonsense :87:

It was a reaction of someone who had no respect for the manager. If he wants to do that, do it privately not at the side of the pitch.

I don't hate Commons, I can just accept that his time here is done because you know what? Players slow down and get worse (99% of the time) as they get older. Commons is now 33 and no longer has the required ability/work rate to do much for this team. His time is up, why is that so hard to get?

Almost as ridiculous as comparing their record. "Ridiculous"? I'm comparing Commons most recent form to Armstrong's recent form. Commons goalscoring record domestically last season was worse than Armstrong's from this season - and Armstrong is playing in a deeper position. He brings so much more to the table than Commons. Look at today for example, and the recent game against Inverness when Armstrong won MOTM. Even goals aside, he works for 90 minutes all over the pitch, gets assists, gets us up the pitch etc etc.

In terms of the game against the huns last season. Do you know for a fact that we would have won if Commons played? No. Therefore it's nonsense to suggest we would have. We had plenty of match winners on the pitch, it was just a * performance under a manager who wasn't good enough. It happens. There's been plenty of games we've lost when Commons was on the pitch. Shocking right?

Commons has been a very good player for us and scored a * load of goals for a midfielder, but he's not good enough or hard working enough to play for us now. Armstrong is a far better option now.

Yeah and it was absolutely justified.

I never said you hate Commons, I was just pointing out your ridiculous logic.

Your comparing recent form of two players, one that's played recently and one that hasn't. Yeah that's just daft. Why don't we compare Commons best season to Armstrongs? since we can just make up own wee stat windows/ Fact is Kris Commons is a better player and has done more for Celtic than Armstrong has.

By recent form I'm talking about Commons last run in the team and Armstrong's last run in the team i.e. this season. Surely that's how you compare players, their recent (as much as possible) form? That's how football works, it's game where form matters. The proof is in the pudding really, if Commons was that great he'd be at least on the bench. McGregor, Bitton, Armstrong, Christie and Henderson are all ahead of him in the pecking order. Sort of lets you know what level he's at.

Commons has done more for Celtic than Armstrong, correct. Commons used to be a better player than Armstrong. He isn't any more.

In any case, it's obvious we're not on the same page here. I shall agree to disagree.

Wherever he goes he'll be an asset I'm sure. Great player just doesn't fit our side now unfortunately. Wish him the best of luck.

Love Kris and his family but his time here is obviously up. Would be good to see him at Hibs with Lennon think he'd do well there.

Hope this happens, he is too good to be sitting doing nothing, but he is not good enough to fit in our side atm.

Should just be released but I doubt he'll leave without taking any money.
