Toure offers value now though, which Commons clearly doesn't given he's not been close to the team

It has a lot to do with the Molde sub thing and how much of a * he was

And that's where I strongly disagree that Armstrong offers more value on the pitch than Kris Commons.

I thought a lot of the fans sympathised with Commons over the Molde incident. He should have kept it in the dressing room instead of embarrassing himself in public but he was only venting the same frustrations we all had that night.

Confronting the inept dud in the dugout was probably the only highlight of last year's disastrous Euro campaign.

I usually side with the manager with * like that but I was * happy to see that, that night. Felt like some of my pwn frustrations were being released.

Totally unprofessional behaviour and a selfish act on his behalf. Commons knew what he was doing that night and felt safe enough to do it, knowing he would have the backing of a percentage of the fans(And true to form on the weekend after Malmo, the guy was given a standing ovation when he came on as a sub). At the same time as he was happy venting his own personal grievance in public, he also built pressure on the management and his teammates for the coming months.

Clearly he had no respect for the manager and at the same time, the fans. Whether he likes the manager or not is one thing. But he was a Celtic player and he has a responsibility to the fans. And he fell well short of that. Rodgers has come in and he's dropped weight, despite being asked the same from last season.

Lost all respect and admiration I had for him that night.

He publically apologised almost immediately after the incident and stated that it was born out of frustration. Commons was in the wrong but quickly realised it and apologised. I don't hold any grudge against him for making a small mistake.

His frustrations were more than understandable, his reaction though was inexcusable.

I certainly lost alot of respect for him that night. Gave me the impression he thought he was bigger than the club.

Really? Was the opposite for me. Gave me the impression he * cared about the club. Was the most amount of passion we seen from the dugout that night anyway.

There's a time and a place though mate.

Wether Deila or Pep Guardiola is your manager you have to show a bit of respect. It was clear he had none for Ronny, but he finds himself in the same situation under Brendan and you couldn't imagine him doing that.

We were all frustrated under Deila, the least you expect is the players tol show a bit of solidarity.

Think it spilled over mate, I'm usually of the same opinion as you but at the time I was glad he done it.

I mind watching it and being quite embarrassed for Ronny more than anything. For me it was the first nail in the coffin for him.
Exactly and it puts it into perspective.

That moment would only have been better if he knocked out Ronny and Collins. Hated the both of them.

I'd rather he left now, but I sided with him that night. He wouldn't of been my pick to be subbed that night, and his reaction was one that I was feeling everytime the camera zoomed in Ronny looking to the floor helpless during that pathetic display against a team he supposedly knew inside out..

No he wouldn't do it with Pep or whoever else, but I think we can all say looking back, that that said more about Ronny than it did with Commons. Sorry, I'm no gonna annihilate him after that when the ex manager has stated himself that he was clearly a burden on his own player's...at at period that game fell under..

I've thought that about him for quite some time. It's part of the reason why I don't like him.

Just wish we'd get rid of him and this chat over him will be done. He's obviously not a Rodgers type player.

As I said though mate there's a time and a place if he wanted to have it out with Ronny.

We all knew Ronny was out of his depth, there was no need for Commons to clarify that to the supporters.
