Well his wife Lisa has deleted her twitter and hasn't instagramed in 3 days which is really unlike her.

Clearly this latest episode has upset the Commons household.

Aslong as Rogic keeps up his form. Commons hasn't a hope in * tbh.

I'd like to see him reach 100 but I severely doubt it now.

    Rogic is far better now.

Even in his pomp, Commons was never as graceful or enjoyable to watch as Rogic is.

Yeah but near 100 goals and countless assists prove he ain't too bad. The goal v Rangers was a thing of beaity, the lob.

£ for £ one of our best ever signings.

There are similarities between Commons and Rogic. Neither is/was particularly quick or fit (although a fully fit Commons could managed 90 minutes), and neither offers the team a great deal, defensively.

Rogic is more creative, Commons is the bigger goal threat.

I do think Commons time at Celtic is probably up now and it's a shame it's apparently going to fizzle out like this.

Agreed. Nowhere near as effective but far more enjoyable to watch with the thing's he does with the ball..

Saying Rogic is far less effective is slightly harsh now as well, considering how many he's scoring and how much of a threat he is in virtually every game he play's these day's..

Commons was brilliant here, but it's over. I'd never drop him for Rogic, even Christie now personally..

I was talking in terms of people saying he doesn't suit Rodgers style. If Commons doesn't, either does Rogic.

I don't expect to see him start any of our CL group games for that very reason, mate. I'll be shocked if he does.

I think he's far more suited than Commons. Good in possession and retaining it, which Commons isn't great at. Much quicker on the ball and when breaking with it as well, he get's us up the pitch..

Not quick, but definitely has speed when he's going with the ball..

Rogic is a far better fit for Rodgers than Commons hence one is playing regularly under him and the other is 6 months away from being out the door.

How so? Both play the same position, both aren't particularly quick or defensively minded, both like to get beyond the striker/a long shot or creating for others, both aren't the fittest either.

Don't see much difference in style tbh.

They are poles apart in style. Rogic is far more mobile, has better technique, better vision and quicker feet whereas Commons is a bigger goal threat.

The proof is in front of us, Rodgers doesn't fancy Commons.

Maybe he just thinks that at 23, he can change Rogic's game in the medium term; whereas at 33, that's not really going to happen with Commons.

In the short term, I can't see Rogic being more than an impact sub in the CL this year.

Always found Commons to be mobile, seems to pop up everywhere round the park, just finds space. I'm not disputing that he doesn't fancy Commons, just that 'he doesn't suit Rodgers style' is a load of * because Rogic is very similar in those terms. Except he does tend to be burst after the 60 minute mark as well.

Obviously he does mate, as shown by the amount of games he has featured in under Rodgers.

I do kinda get what you're hinting at though, but what I've seen from Rogic is that he has been willing to chase down balls and have a go at people by trying to run by them. He's not the quickest, that much is true.

Plus, Rodgers has sent packing a right good few who don't fit into his plans, Rogic wasn't one of them.

I was hoping that Commons would have been included in the CL squad due to his vast experience in Europe with Celtic, but hey ho.......gotta trust the manager on that one.
