    Commons is pish. Its true.

A 33 year old kris Commons is pish, its really not hard to understand is it?

"Awww no mate he's our best midfielder, no scared to have a dig, the rest of em just try to pass it in man"

    That mentality man.

Its entirely worrying * would entertain Commons playing the number 10 role in the champions league, absolute rockets.

I think thats a bit disrespectful toward a guy who's done brilliantly for us.

You have not even seen Commons play under Rodgers so to dismiss a great servant for the club like that is a joke ROCKET.

He doesn't fit into Rodgers' system, was never the most mobile player and is ageing and severely lacking match fitness. It's not a surprise tbh.

Who wants him to play in the number 10 role in the CL?

    This.

You have to ask whether Commons has been treated by Rogers as badly as Guardiola treated Hart.

Would fans accept us doing that to Kieran Tierney when he gets into his 30s? No way.

"As badly as Guardiola has treated hart"

Laughable, these are top class managers, running a business as it should be run. Funnily enough its not all fairytales n roles, important decisions need to be made.

Its been mentioned a fair few times.

We also have the "Our best midfielder" patter, wonder if these guys would play our best midfielder in our biggest games?...

He cant play on the wing, 10 is the only spot an argument can be made for him.

I'm failing to understand what you'e trying to say, well I'm basing my reply on the logic you're being rational and failing to see * suggesting for him to play.

If he can adapt to what Brendan wants from him he could easily be playing upfront with either Griff our Mouse. He would be better for that role than Ciftci 100%. Brendan decides though.

I honestly haven't seen anyone saying we should be starting him as our number 10 in the CL.

Tam Rogic is our best option at 10.. Commons is a very good back up to have, he has proven he can cut it in Europe and was probably our best performer last season in Europa.

But going by the CL squad I don't believe Brendan has him in his plans at all, It looks like Christie will be back back up to Tam.

    So you can relax.

Hart doesn't fit into Guardiola's style so he goes. Same story as Commons. Plus , Commons hasn't been fit for the vast majority of BR's time here so far.

We are getting on fine without him. Some people need to move on, I think. As fine a servant as he has been, times change.

It would be nice if he could feature in the league and let him get to 100 goals if he doesn't make the 25 for the CL.

A nice send of for him.

Apparently he didn't make the CL squad mate. Only him and Efe from the senior players I think...

I'd love to see him get to 100 as well, good servant to the club.

I don't see how anyone who has watched a Celtic game this season can actually think "Do you know what would improve this team? Kris Commons"

He's past it, yes he done well in the CL last time, but that was 4 years ago, when he was 29, not 33.

We have so many players who are better than him at this time.

He can't though, he's way too slow.

People are basically saying "if he could become good, he'd be good" which is just stupid.

He was one of the only players to play well in the EL last season.

It's a long season, if he is to be here then he will play a part. Domestically anyway.
