I dont know how many times some people said move on and then changed there opinion on this guy, I trust Rodgers and think he will give Commons game time as he is a quality player.

Lennon would have had a word in his ear and told him about commons quality.

Agree, Brendan said that he had dinner with Lenny a couple of weeks ago.

There's no doubt Commons name would have been brought up in the conversation and Lenny would have told him about the quality he possesses to change a game in the final third.

I've no doubts that once fully fit Commons will get his chance behind the striker(s). Atm we only have Rogic, Commons and possibly Christie who are really capable of playing there anyway.

Hope he stays. Still think he has plenty to offer, maybe as a player/coach?

He shops in where I work and he has a son (i think) that's just started his first day of school with my pal's neice the other day there. I would like to assume this means he's staying.

    What's the deal with Kris?

Is he going to be sticking around?

He's only 9 goals from 100 goals for us, but Griffiths will probably get there first.

Don't think he offers much that younger players can't offer.
    Impact sub? Rogic.

Been a great player for us and certainly contributed a lot to the cause, should go down as a good player who put his heart in to us. But very far from legend.

That word gets tossed about too much in football.
Same with "love" in society. We are too casual to use words that mean a lot more than we ought to.

Same as "Epic" mate. * yank talk creeping in.

Kris Commons.I hope he recovers and makes it back into the squad, though I have a feeling he rails against the high tempo style of play we've been focused on since Lenny was running the show.He was always more into having a crack from range where he was great, rather than poncing about moving the ball around.

Think we've missed someone who can hammer them in from midfield as well as he can.

I like the guy and He's got goals in him.

Also I think he might still be on the naughty list.

He looks leaner in the linked pic above. I'd like to see him get an opportunity to prove himself in Brendan's system before a decision is made on his future.

Guys great if used how he should be. To slip passes through and create goals. Still think nobody on our teams better at it. Can he hack the way brendan wants us to play though? Or will brendan see how pivotal he can be in big games and work a system around him?

Would love to see him back playing for us but being honest, i think his career with Celtic is over. Shame too, dig us out a few holes and scored some important goals.
