Armstrong ahead of Commons your having a laugh mate. Armstrong offers absolutely nothing, shift Armstrong ASAP or let him take up his law degree cause he is never good enough for Celtic.

    * attitude under Ronny. Probably trying to impress Brendan as he's a well quoted manager, but it's too late.

    Don't be silly.

Seen more conviction in a shot from Hoopy the Huddle hound than Armstrong.

Commons offers nothing either except long distance shots now a days, thats literally all he does in games now. At least Armstrong runs and tries to play a part.

I'd get rid of both in an ideal world, Armstrong is the last person I'd choose in the number 10 position after Commons.

Still one of the most talented players we have, even using him as a sub later in games, id be getting rid of GMS, Armstrong before Kris

We would have been completely embarrassed in Europe last year had it not been for Commons. Of our 8 goals in the EL groups last season, Commons scored 4 and assisted 3.

I know it's going to be hard for Commons to fit into this system, but it's even harder for Stuart to fit into the jersey.

This is from only last season....

How about some vision for a long range pass?
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGOgB8dn-Aw[/ame] 0.13
Scissor kick? Also sets up Jozo in this game.
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoLm9NVFJaU[/ame] 1.20
    Two assists away at Ajax?
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vEZzVPhDjk[/ame]
    Diving header?
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DD4q0HkKuMk[/ame]

And that was during a season he got little game time due to a fud of a manager and had some injuries, as well as the squad morale being at an all time low.

He's got plenty to offer still and backup to Rogic in the hole behind the strikers he is a fantastic option to have there.

He * all over Armstrong, in fact Armstrong isn't even fit enough to lace his boots.

Just about the crux of it for me. Everyone else last season was chastised for attitude and "stealing money from the club". While Commons was lauded as standing up for the fans.

Commons has created or scored a goal in something like 70 percent of the games that's he's played for Celtic. Not a bad return for a guy that only offers long distance shooting.

I agree he might not fit Rodgers high pressing game but It's always good to have other options on the bench in case a game plans not working. There's people we need shot of before Commons.

For example GMS, Armstrong, Johansen, McGregor, Ciifti. Every one a them lack real quality!!

Backup to Rogic? Rogic is struggling to nail down a first team place himself, mainly due to the way we are setting up. If we play with a number 10 regularly, then I have no problem with Commons playing second fiddle to Rogic. How often are we going to play with a number 10 though? His days as a winger are over in my opinion, especially in Rodgers set up. I'm struggling to see where Commons will fit in. I'd imagine he will be one of our higher earners as well, which would make it even harder to justify keeping him I feel.

Slimmest I have ever seen him in his time here.

As I have said before I don't think he can fit into this side, especially with Rogic constantly developing now.

However if he is fit enough then he could still be a valuable squad member at 33. Can fill in at striker/false 9 if need be and I'd rather him there than Ciftci.

The is why I rarely debate with * on stuff in Celtic chat. * just spout mince, Its either one or the other, he's pish or amazing.

I think Commons has been a great servant to us and I'll always remember him as a good player in a good period but he's done here imo.

Do you reckon he'll play a part when fit?

    I can't see it.

In one post you were saying you'd like to see him hit the 100 mark, in the next post you were saying you'd have Armstrong ahead of him in the No.10 role.

You can see why folk want to debate that with you.

Unless I've got it mixed up and you don't wouldn't have Armstrong ahead of Commons behind the strikers then I apologise if I got that wrong.
