Been great for the club both on and off the park. Would like him to get a coaching role at the club either now or in the future.

Don't want to see Commons or Stokes go, really. If we can get younger, quicker players who can match their goal/assist contributions then I'm all for it.

They're both still good enough to hit double figures for us, that's a lot of goals to let go on the cheap.

Is there a player in our team that you would find more reliable to find the back of the net in those big moments?

Probably not no and I agree he should probably be kept but it's not hard to see why people would be happy to let him go as well.

Time to make new heroes(sounds cliché but it's true). We have to move on eventually.

Not while they still have the ability to make a major difference for us on the pitch.

    Roy Keane's autobiography suggests differently.

What did he say in his autobiography?

Just need to wait and see. As for Stokes I'd probably say the same although out of both I could see him being more suited if we go 4-3-3.

I'll trust Rodgers' decision, whatever way it goes.

Deila * up with that one. Should a played him a lot more.

The fact Commons even on a terrible performance day usual pulls something out the bag like goals to win a game he's a must keep for me. Wouldn't get much money for him anyway. He's probably one of our buggest earners but he's better most in our team. Guys been a superb signing

Technically, probably our best player. His vision too is priceless and if hr can keep fit and some game time he will be useful next season I have no doubt

Think the time is right for him to move on. Big earner and probably wont be an automatic starter. Wages could go towards someone who will.

Two failed loan spells suggests differently to me. Obviously Keane saw him first hand but if he was a success down there he wouldn't have ended up at Hibs.

He was a bit of a boy but he showed at Sunderland he was potentially a top player.

Paper talk is of him going to Rotherham. At this stage in his career he'll want to play games and we can't really guarantee that.

Probably the best signing we've had in terms of price and level of performance since agathe and Larsson.

Sadly though ask things must come to an end, if he is happy to warn the bench and let rogic have his place then keep him until he retires.

If he wants first team football on the regular then he has to go.

Easily the best signing we've made in my lifetime when you consider the price we paid. 200k - 400k. 91 goals and 55 assists in 5 and a half seasons.

Will be sad to see him move on :54:

Potentially a top player doesn't seem like he done too well though
