    He was an attacking midfielder there, though. He's better when he's playing in behind a main striker and has a license to do what he wants. Ronny had him out on the wing most of the time.

    Not sure if true or not but seen a few folk writing he came out the front doors with a bag full of boots etc and gave them to fans. Assuming he's on his way, obviously haven't a clue if it's a rumour or true.

    If Lennon were to come back, Commons would be right back in the starting XI when available. No doubt.

    Commons, Brown, Mulgrew etc are all Lenny guys.

    I have rated commons highly throughout his career at celtic but i genuinely think that christie and Rogic should be ahead of him currently, both offer a bit more energy and are both very intelligent.

    Another player who I'd like to see leave the club this summer. It's time to move on. We have a raft of younger players - Rogic, Armstrong, Christie and Allan - who can play the 'number 10' position and they need to get game time in order to develop. Commons is an obstacle on the path to those players getting the game time they need. He's been a fantastic player for us and I have greatly enjoyed watching him but all good things must come to an end. Now is the time for Commons and Celtic to go their separate ways.
