Lennon's best signing for me

 

Wanted him off at half-time. I love the guy, always produces something just as yer shouting at him to get tae. :smiley-laughing002:

That's January's goal of the month for us sorted.

 

Agree with KDawg though there are times when your shouting for Ronny to take him off then he pulls out a wonder goal

 

He actually burst someone for pace down the right first half as well

 

Bagging a second half hattrick at Rugby park after screaming for him to come off is a personal standout..

 

I remember doing the same, was woeful first half, still don't know how he managed that in the second

 

Think his 3rd was an absolute screamer as well. He just has a knack of pulling some magic off outta nowhere. Karagandy before half time he got us started and hun game's etc..

Five years at the club, spectacular goals in the big games, passionate about finishing his career at Celtic, Commons is exemplary!

 

Peach of a goal last night. He did look like he was struggling to get his fat * far enough off the ground to hit the volley though. :smiley-laughing002:

 

I still wasn't that keen on Commons until that game. Then, that 30+ goal haul. Now I couldn't imagine not having him (been that rare bright spark for us in Europe this season, too).

 

He's on 91 goals? Just 9 more, he can do that this season, no bother.

He is invaluable to us and I hope he retires with us.

 

Since the outbreak to Delia away in Europe I just can't behind him, gives me the impression he has too much influence in the dressing room when it really should be the manager in charge - Commons wouldn't have that outburst to Strachan, Lennon or O'Neil. That being said some finish last night and he always performs in Europe so he makes it a real difficult selection for Delia regarding the number 10 position.

Rogic and Commons are similar in that they are both "lazy" in terms of pressing and tracking back but both can turn it on when on the ball and make things happens, but I think Delia likes McGregor, Forrest, Johansen and Armstrong purely when selecting midfield positions due to the shift they put in to suit the 4-2-3-1 system. Would love to see Allan in the 10 for a long period of time, he certainly looks good enough on the ball and also motivated and committed enough off the ball.

What is the Commons contract situation like?

 

Forrest rarely puts in a shift & has been a sub for the most part & Rogic has started in almost every game.

 

The 100 in this years Scottish cup final .
