What I'm saying is he's scored and set up more than both. That doesn't need a poll, that's a fact.

Last night I didn't phrase it right but I was * so * it.

    Are you * just now?

Not once have I tried to argue with goals and assists, you didn't say that though.

That's what I'm saying there, he's not a better player than either but he's done it more in Europe for us, having a real impact on the game. Winning performances.

Can you say... 4 for Lubo? 4 for Naka? Real match winning peformances from them?

He's our most important attacking player in Europe. No other player offers the threat Kris Commons does.

He probably has scored/assisted more European goals, which is what Dev is saying. He is also saying he is not as good as either Naka or Lubo. But he provides more goals than those two.

And I'm saying you are completely wrong and would be in the vast, vast minority.

And like I said, I wouldn't be. He's scored in more matches and set up more match winning goals.

    Andyhat's all I'm getting at.

    Got your back :smiley-laughing002:

Lubo produced a virtuoso performance against Juventus and Naka produced 2 huge moments of quality against Manchester United - both sides were amongst the strongest sides in Europe around the time of the matches.

Admittedly, Commons' goals have come against lesser sides.

I'm not discounting Commons in any way.

I am saying, to suggest that he has done more in Europe than Lubo and Naka combined is laughable. Not just silly, laughable.

Think you're probably focusing on how he phrased it, as opposed to what he has explained he actually meant.

Moravcik and Nakamura produced bigger individual performances/moments in bigger matches against bigger teams, but Commons has scored more overall.

Right, can you tell me what Naka and Lubo done more than him in Europe? All you're doing is saying 'laughable' etc. Not once have you tried to say why they done it more games than Commons?

Commons might have done it against the likes of Elfsborg, Karagandy, Zagreb, Spartak Moscow, Ajax, Fenerbache and co. Who aren't great shakes but either are we.

Lubo had his moment against Juventus, Naka was the two games aginsg Manchester United. I don't think there was many more real, match winning moments. Even though we never won the game at Old Trafford and I don't think Naka played well in general that day it was a bit of genius.

I'm actually not sure how anyone can't see what Devlin is saying. It's pretty straight forward to me.

I thought he was back peddling from his comment at first but numerous times now he has said they have done more. Doing more equates to way more than goals and assists.

    Point proven.

Then disprove my point. I'm saying in more games, you've not once told me what other match winning moments the other two have had, so that they done it in more games? Not once tried to refute the point.

Has Kris Commons done more for Celtic in Europe than Naka and Lubo combined in your opinion?
